If it weren't for the job losses, unpaid local businesses, contribution to the financial crisis, 10 pt deduction, loss of history, black mark on our name, local embarrassment... I'd be tempted to cheer for admin just to get out of this horrible malaise we find ourselves in.

The rumored meeting this afternoon is probably about another belt tightening.

I tried to avoid that point. But the unknown budget bit wouldn't make any sense in that case. He would know the budget is a nice round figure.

This summer has been extremely quiet all round. Masses of uncertainty around in the game, so its perhaps a calculated gamble to wait for Willo and KMac and also to wait for other teams to implode or release their fire sale players.

We certainly seem slow this year and its concerning, because the squad is so small now.

I've certainly not heard anything credible related to Admin or Takeover, but would suggest that unless we've not paying our tax bills the Admin is unlikely, because McCabe would lose more by putting us into Admin.

As for a Takeover, possible and I'm sure we're ripe for it, but not heard anything.

I think people are flapping over nothing. Unfortunately because our top brass is quiet and allows Wilson to carry the can then anything like this is treated as suspicious.

Unless McCabe's personal business has gone under there is nothign to worry about

I don't have an issue with the top brass being quiet I also dont really see it as a case of Wilson then carrying the can. I'd rather Wilson and his team are getting down to business quietly and I also like the fact that the top Brass also keep out of the media spotlight nowadays.

Of course through the silence, we get rumours and guesswork.

People will be asking what Winter does between 9-5 next!

It wasn't about admin or the other rumours.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that before any season, especially a season that's ended up finding us in League One rather than the Championship, that all areas of the club will be briefed on the changes and plans for the coming season.

That's why people would do well to remember that a number of those in the firing line for abuse are Blades, just like us, hard working, with mortgages to pay and kids to feed.

Remaining in League One doesn't just effect the fans and the playing staff, it effects those who work in all aspects of the club, it makes it harder for us all.
