Right so yesterday made me feel about as low as I’ve been after a game with everything that went off so I’ve tried to cheer myself up.

We simply need to win our remaining fixtures (incredibly doubtful given recent performances but nevertheless) and require Leeds to lose a game. Leeds going unbeaten would mean they would be 8 unbeaten dating back to Millwall, so I went back to see how many times they had done that this season.

They haven’t. They won 7 on the bounce around Christmas time. The other 7 unbeaten was at the beginning of the season and comprised of 3 draws. 3 draws in the remaining 4 and we’d have more than a chance.

On the other hand, we’ve won 4 in a row 3 times this season. Sep/Oct/Jan.

So it’s still possible. Leeds will almost certainly drop points and if they don’t, they’ll have won 8 in a row. Now I know the likelihood of us winning all 4 given injuries etc is slim but I just thought this might be interesting for a few.

UTB.

8 unbeaten?

There are four games to go, and they lost three games so at Birmingham.

They only need to go 6 wins on the bounce (and actually they can go 5 plus 1 draw) and they are up, and they already have 2 of them wins.

It's very doable on our part, we hsve bounced back from dissapointment before.
I just hope we aren't without Bash and Billy for long.

No idea why I’ve put 8 mate apologies, the other statistics are right though (I hope)

Positive stats mate but wrong all the same. :D

Haha tried to make everyone feel better and ended up making us all feel worse. Nice try though.

Enjoyed the stats. We definitely have a run of 4 wins in us, and actually I’d rather have had our blip now so we can put it right during the next 4. We just need Leeds to have a their blip and we’re back in it.

Someone saying that both are out for the rest of the season, Mrs Grappler just read it out to me, both hamstring issues, never seen Bash keep sitting on the deck, so I guess he knew it was serious.

Not official, I'll ask her where she read it.

I thought the worst when Bash first went (and stayed) down. It must be serious for him not to get up. Weren't they attending to his ankle area though? Unless he went down the second time with his hammy?

Bloody nightmare if both are out :(
