So, who do we want in the FA CUP then???

Haha I wish!

Went out in the earliest round ever in our history, extra qualifying round in August on penalties against Walsall Wood! :(

Can't see us making the first or second round proper for a few years alas, until we get ourselves sorted and pushing back up the leagues.....until then its lingering memories of the great runs we had in 2014 and 2015 and the trip to BDTBL!

:)

A Blade’s “other club” is knocked out of a cup by Walsall?

This Bramall Lane thing is definitely rubbing off on you, JR.

Pigs away
No bus parking AND with it being a cup tie they would have to give us the entire Leppings Lane end like the old days which would really piss them off

It will be Hartlepool or Walsall
Pity we can’t play a combined 11 of the two really. Another tasty fixture would Gillingham away. Or Scunthorpe?

Oh those early rounds of the Cup eh? Altrincham, Burscough. Nowt like it. Dare to dream!

West Ham or a non-league team away, or a top 6 PL club at home.

1. Man Utd aren't struggling
2. They'd wipe the floor with us
It's a tad tongue in cheek, but I would like a premier league team at the Lane, of course man United could wipe the floor with us but I would also have confidence is us pulling off a result

Fleetwood. Chedwyn to score its written in the stars. A million miles away.

Mick Heaton went to Blackburn and had a long spell there. He became Howard Kendall's assistant at Blackburn and Everton.

Yes, left back for the first three months of the 1969-70 season before Ted Hemsley took over
I vaguely remember the name. Sorry to hear about that and was totally ignorant of that fact.

I lived in Blackburn some years ago and remember Oswaldtwistle, Accrington, and all sorts of other exotic Lancashire towns.

Enjoyed my time there. The folks were brilliant. Really friendly. Salt o the earth types

Man City away would be my choice - a new stadium for me, a complete free hit and the fascination of seeing how CW/AK would set up against the best in the land. If we win, a great day if we lose we won't have a distraction running over the second half of the season and it would be fun seeing Kyle Walker play.

Fleetwood. Chedwyn to score its written in the stars. A million miles away.

Ched didn't play at the weekend, has he played in any FA cup games this season? I wondered whether we'd put a clause in the loan in case he ended up coming back.
