Very poor from wilder today, disrespectful to the opposition and we got what we deserved.

Practice in knock out games in the fa cup might serve us well in the playoffs that we seem to bottle every bloody time
Wilder picked a start team of players today good enough to win 99 times out of 100.
He sent them out with BRAIN DEAD tactics that have failed in his last three seasons.
His opposing manager was/is NOT brain dead so won.

Well our first team players have had over a two week winter break to the Charlton game and will get a break on fa cup weekends, so wilder can't spout any bollocks about fixture congestion or playing too many games now

Lacking match fitness will be the excuse if we don't win all our games in Jan Feb

Overall possession

Sheffield United 23 Mansfield Town 12

Shots on target

Sheffield United 5 Mansfield Town 6

Total touches inside the opposition box
Sheffield United 45 Mansfield Town 9

their keeper had a blinder
just poor defending from us

Their keeper conceded 60% of shots on target,,,, just,,goes to,,,,,show.

While we were too busy planning a heist and trying to pick the lock.… Mansfield kicked the doors in and in good old fashioned style…brought the shooters with them.

We weren't clinical enough

No we aren’t Man City but squad players need competitive games and the early rounds of a cup are ideal
You could say that ! Just there is a pattern to this with Wilder in charge.
The last 5 years or maybe slightly longer we have lost at home to sides from a lower division. Blackburn in the league cup ,Barnet FA Cup,Cardiff FA cup championship but relegated, now Mansfield. We were in the prem when Blackburn beat us ! If my memory serves me well.
All home games and us fielding numerous changers,Wilder says he picks a team good enough to win! Obviously not!.
He never learns does he? or is it part of his plan for the 2nd half of the season. We blades now are never surprised when we lose a cup game at home against inferior opposition.
I was at all these matches! going home frustrated by the performance and defeat ! I will be there next time! and there will be a next time its written in the Stars

And no matter what you might think about Adam Davies, there was no way he was to blame for any of the goals today.
Not having a go at you, mate but really? Do you don't think him staying on his line for so long and not coming out to meet the Mansfield scorer for the fourth was ok?

Absolutely crap defending, I agree, but he stayed back far too long and then got beaten easily at this near post with a tap in. It was Sunday League stuff.

He gets beaten by most average shots that are not hit straight at him and the effect his 'performances' must have on the defence is also a factor.

He's terrible.

He's so bad - the management team in a League game would play Cooper at 50% over him. Time to kick his arse out of the club and get a back up where we don't all immediately shit our pants when we see he's in goal.

Would’ve been Burnley away in R4. I like Turf Moor so bit disappointing to miss that.

I assume that won’t be a hugely popular opinion!

Spoiler alert - they schedule Championship fixtures from round 4 weekends onwards and then postpone if necessary. And Pompey are also out. So no, they don't get a break

There are no “FA Cup” weekends: they are already league matches.
