After last night's match, I have finally agreed that we are finally feckin off league 1.
But my question is, watch match will we get promoted?
Thoughts on a postcode

If we did do it; likelihood it would not be final game. This is United we are talking about!

Seriously though I expect that there will be a few twist and turns yet but if things carry on recent form then we would be looking at maybe 3 or 4 games from end.I am thinking one of the Easter Weekend games- either at Port Vale or home to Bradford. Would be great to go up at Vale maybe and then seal the title v Bradford. Then just have a party at MK Dons and play the youths v Chessy.

For the last time, we seal it away at Port Vale.

It's a 3-0 or 3-1 win, that bit's not been decided yet.

I think it's not done and dusted yet.....we could have a run like Scunny....

We play the bottom 5 teams out of our 10 remaining games so should comfortably be promoted with 3 or 4 games to play I would have thought.

Champions on tele at home to Bradford would be fantastic. This gets my vote.

My prediction,

We beat Bradford in the early kick off and promotion is confirmed in slightly anti-climactic circumstances as 3rd place fail to win later that day. But then we wrap up the title at MK and all have a big party on the final day v Chesterfield.

Pretty sure the Bradford game will have something riding on it - the title IMO, maybe promotion, maybe both. Should be a memorable occasion. And one that I'm glad is an early kick off and on TV - don't think I've every said that before.

Port Vale, just been told I'm going corporate, its got to be to make sure it is a very Good Friday and I will truly believe in the resurrection.

Think they'll be a few minor bumps along the way. But it's all part of the tease. Got a "bad" feeling we will win against Bradford but have to wait for 3pm k.os to finish before promotion is confirmed.

Bolton beat Fleetwood on Saturday, putting them nine points behind us with a game in hand. Fleetwood remain eight points behind us with a game in hand. On Tuesday, we lose at Swindon while Fleetwood win at Walsall and Bolton win at Gillingham. We're now going into the Charlton home game just five points ahead of Fleetwood who have a game in hand. Bolton, six points adrift of us, also have a game in hand. The pressure starts to mount....

:-)

What's good about this one is that as it stands we've got the prospect of a two game celebration, one for promotion, one for the title.

Perfect scenario for me would be winning promotion at MK, and the title at home to Chezzy. Or maybe promotion at home to Bradford, and title at MK.
