NC is notorious for not announcing any new arrivals until they are certainties, but is anyone here in the know?

Has there not been any reliable chatter in the last day or two?

The suspense is killing me.

Sounds like we don't want to bow down to wage demands.

Nowt new there then. All too familiar a line these days

If the player's agent in question is asking for what the player is earning at his club, then that's their right

If the agent is taking the p1ss, that's a different matter

If the club think they can sign said player and pay next to f'k all, then they are in the wrong market

It gets a bit tedious after a while making bids that continue to get turned down. Either we are serious about getting out this God forsaken division, or we aren't. I also appreciate we don't want clubs, players and players agents taking the p1ss, but like I say, for me it's getting a bit same owd, same owd

My cynical side says this is a rumour put out to take the spotlight off a certain ex international striker ;)

Do agents factor into loan negotiations? The player's wage is already set - surely the issues are debates between the clubs on what % of that will be covered by the parent club?
