So How Many Points Do You Think We Need?

This time last season;

1 Northampton 34 75pts
2 Oxford 34 64pts
3 Plymouth34 64pts

Wilder OUT !!!

Against both Scunny and Bolton, we played a very positive, confident game. Most sensible Scunny fans admitted they had been let off the hook when a lapse in concentration let them back into the game. A lot of Bolton fans seeing the gulf in class and how they were second best in every department.

They were (on paper) our two toughest matches.

I think CW and AK do a lot of homework before a game, but I don't think they do "scared".

We play attacking football, we have the first team regulars who can do that and we have a bench that is the envy of every other team in this division.

If yesterdays cameo was a hint of things to come, opposition team players and managers will shit a brick when we make a substitution and it's Carruthers waiting to come on, or Lavery, or O'Shea.

5 home games, 7 away games to go.

Tougher games mostly at home: Bradford, Millwall, Charlton (although, of the away games Rochdale & Oxford decent, and Port Vale & MK always difficult places to visit).

Leaves the very winnable games of Coventry (H), Chesterfield (H), & Oldham (A), Swindon (A), Northampton (A). Win those 5, 2 of the other three home games, & 1 of the 4 trickier away games and ... home & hosed.
