Heard the same, just the fine details to iron out, not team formation, but who is driving him to training everyday, Moose or Mcburnie, he is apparently standing firm but willing to negotiate on a bus pass, or someone with a white stick and guide dog

I think we view things from totally opposite directions. I see that as a positive. He's not changed his stance. He knew we were in for him weeks ago.

In fairness to him, I reckon they will have at least checked before deciding to have serious talks within him after they had to back out of a deal for Blessin.
It seems they do learn from mistakes at least.

Not that I am cynical, BUT! a couple of years ago most of us, including the large flock of Geese,, thought the logical and overdue choice of Nigel Adkins was the correct decision

Once the decision has been made it's all irrelevant. At that point you have to just get behind him, hope he gets the backing he needs and hope those who wanted him were right. There are legitimate reasons why people think managers are a good choice or a good fit, but sometimes things just don't work out.

Looking back judging myself I think I've been quite good at judging players. Not too many have ended up better or worse than I thought. When it comes to managers I've been bloody awful. I liked the way Robson talked, same for Weir, I was over the moon with Adkins, and I thought Wilder would be awful. We should all be worried when I say Jokanovic is my first choice right now.
