Yes I am 15 but my dad has taught me about the good old days of football. There's also the Shoreham Bootcamp Boys and another old song I like;
We've got Arsenal running
Tottenham's tunning to
Shoreham's always running
RUNNING AFTER YOU!!!

Good lad!! We need young fans like you bringing back the older chants and songs.

Don't know why this one came to mind and its annoying me because old age is definitely playing with my memory - what was the chant that went to the tune of "my old man said follow the van" - all I can remember of it is " with hatchets and hammers, carving knives and spanners" or have I totally imagined it and I am in a delusional time and place where we are looking good for the play-offs ?? o_O

"have you heard of the North Bank Highbury, he says "No, I don't think so, but I've heard of the Shoreham Boot Boys" - thank you for putting me out of my misery

Aah, but I haven't! Different songs. I remember the 'My old man...' one but can't remember the original, er,lyrics. The more modern version is:

'My old man
said 'be a Wednesday fan'
I said 'fuck off, bollocks, you're a cunt'.

They don't write 'em like that any more. :D

Do yo wear Aquascutum or Burberry?

There's a reason these songs stopped. Not a great image to show of the club is it.

uck me! Do you wear your scarf around your wrist as well?

Is that one of the star T shirts you could only get on mail order from the New Musical Express - I had one of them, haircut was similar too - come to think of it .... that might be .... no surely not. I'm a good lad. Me mother says so.:D

We'll take hillsborough and all thats in it, we'll take hillsborough in just one minute
With hatchets and spanners, garden knives and spanners, we are the boys from Bramall Lane.
We go home and away on on a Sat-ur-day where the beer tastes all the same

My old man said be a wednesday fan, i said fuck off bollocks your a cunt.
He said come on we're going to the game, I said FUCK OFFi'm going down the lane.
So i went down to John Street, found myself a good seat, saw the boys go two up at the break.
Then it's off to the bar for a pint of Magnet and a meat pie filled with steak.

I think it's awesome that you like the classics even though you're so young.
I'm not old enough to remember some of them either but my old man has always told me about them too.

Mate i'm honestly not like your stereotypical fan like your thinking. I just go to games for a good time to watch the Blades and sing a song.

Get the Shoreham singing Tuesday they've been quiet this year.
Bring some of that away noise to the lane

Ronnie Sharpes CD has all the old classics on it they play in the Cricketers

Any idea where I could purchase the CD?
Ask behind the bar in Cricketers.
Don't laugh but they had on sale at Dronfield Post Office.
If you're desparate you'll find Sharpy in the Bridge Dronfield it's just reopened most nights

Now, boys, now, boys, now for a jolly spree,
Ran, san, tiddly-ann, come and have a round with me;
Come and have a round or two, I don’t care what you do,
But I say, clear the way, for the rowdy dowdy boys

"Ohh! Stick the boot in!
Ohh! Stick the boot in!"

Still sing that now. For no reason whatsoever that it makes me laugh.

You don't have to backtrack pal, nowt wrong with getting boisterous at a game. I don't agree with thugs and hooligans but that tribal atmosphere is what makes football the best game in the world for me
