Didn't we have one off Carterknowle Road or is that Abbeydale.
 
i say we rent shircliffe to the porkers at an extortionate rate with terms that mean we are a preferred creditor ( we will always get our money) and that stops them making any changes or redecorating

Used to play 5-a-side there on Fridays 5pm. It was as bad as others have said alright, then there was the arguments on who would retrieve the ball if it went up over the railings and onto the "viewing" area !

If you're on about the one on the corner of Cherry Street and Bramall Lane I think that used to be the old indoor cricket nets, hence the funny shape (for football) five-a-side pitch.
 
If we were to build up at Charnock/Gleadless then that’s us on both sides of the City. We would be wise to start with the Football In The Community projects again (That’s if they’re not being run at the minute) and use both sites for them. It would make getting the next generation of supporters interested in the club from both sides of the City a lot easier.

A few years ago, a very good friend of mine decided (well, his missus did) to have a home birth. The boy was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, an ambulance swiftly took him to the QMC in Nottingham but to no avail. One of the most fiercely emotional episodes of my life, hopefully never to be repeated. Let me tell you, holding a dead baby in your arms puts everything in perspective somewhat.

When my eldest lad was born in a British Military Hospital in 1979, we endured a similar experience. The appearance of a crusty, ancient QA midwife had me concerned at first.
Her experience and quick reaction saved our lad from what your friend had to endure.
He’s still a little git, but at least he’s alive.

I'm confident that if SUFC want the site, a deal with SCC will be done and we will get the site. If we do, I will be pleased. Seemingly you won't be. Why is that..? Maybe you work for the SCC as you seem to imply that you know a lot about this and what SUFC have or haven't done so far. Mind you I have my doubts that you actually do. We will see how this plays out...

if you read the post you see i said no official assesment ( as in authroised and allowed by SCC) have been done, i can do an assement of the land but without a full ground survey ( which hasnt been done ) it means eff all
im dismissive as the land should be used for housing not for a training ground for a private concern but if sufc did want to purchase i would want to ensure that what the city got back was as good if not better deal that can be cash or a better option would be a land swap.

numerous supermarkets with deeper pockets than us have tried to purchse the site due to its good location

i frankly couldnt care less whether you think im a pig or not the fact i dont have a lot of posts is because i have frankly more in my life your post count suggests otherwise you massive prick bigger blade

Still, luckily for SUFC, what you think about the land at Norton and what SCC should do, won't matter a jot as the chances are you're not directly involved either way.

Unlike your good self, I cant get worked up about it either way. We will either buy it and develop it....or we won't. Simple as that really.

By the way, I too couldn't care less if you think I'm 'a massive prick'. You mean fuk all to me.

Topographic survey? Did they have an auger and were they taking boreholes?

If they’re doing a topo and taking soil samples they must have had consent from the owners.

Not seen an auger but they had the tripod equipment set up.If I remember rightly there was actually a couple of photographs put on twitter from nearly residents. The first drawing for the development were actually don’t buy a quite well known blades supporting artist/architect who might be on this site.
