Oh come of it that cooper save goes in and we’re all up in arms about why he didn’t make the changes….

We have been playing a game of fine margins ALL season, fortunately for us we have players with great individual talent to pull rabbits out of hats, let’s not pretend we’ve had a series of games where we’ve been outstanding as a team, I can count on one hand how many really good team performances, where we’ve looked like we had an actual style of play and it’s clicked.

That been said we’re second and on this amount of points for a reason, so credit to Wilder for that, I just think we could be even better, and there’s nothing wrong with us wanting to be better.

And another credit to Wilder, for every Cannon, we get a Campbell, and a Cooper, without these 2 we’d be scrapping it out with the other 8 teams vying for 5th and 6th.

A double over hat lot is amazing, the biggest picture and more importantly- 6 points in the bag for promotion.

It has got to the point with those deluded fools that even if we had stuffed them 4-0, they would still be adamant that they were the better side and were unlucky.

They had 10-12 mins at the start of the game where they pumped the ball into our box but aside from that header, didn’t really trouble us. After that they barely saw a sniff of the ball until half time. I genuinely expected much more of them but they were snidey, dirty, long ball merchants with very little skill. Sadly for us we couldn’t put them away.

Second half was very messy, lots of panicked hoof into the air from both teams. That big dozy fucker they brought on missed a sitter from 6 yards out after a good save by cooper but not much else really.

If it ended a draw, neither side could complain much but I thought we were the better team overall.

Fuckinghell. Way to make me feel like a kid again United. The emotion I felt at full time, even watching on Sky from my flat...this is why we keep going. Done the double (again) gained 2 points on Leeds this weekend, back in the top 2. And now Rhian Brewster, of all people, after enduring a torrid 5 years at the lane, writes himself into Blades folklore for eternity. What a day.

Cooper was magnificent...his save from Smith's header was absolutely world class. £2m (and maybe some addons) for the best keeper outside the Premier League (and better than many in it).

Was it vintage? No. Was it a perfect performance? No. Was it enough to beat our noisy, arrogant, deluded neighbours, and put them firmly back in their box? YES it fucking was.

WHO PUT THE BALL IN THE WEDNESDAY NET? RHIAN FUCKING BREWSTER!

Let us not forget... we won this game without our first choice centre half (Souttar) and our first choice central midfield (Souza and Arblaster).

Plus we were missing several right backs, and Davies in midfield who would have been a great calming influence late on .
