Getting to the business end of the season , Really tough test today away at promotion chasing Birmingham , We are 1 point clear of the bottom 3 ( only 1 is relegated ) , I have really enjoyed watching the matches lately , the ending at Sunderland in mid week was incredible ,, It is probably fair to say it is in our own hands , we play all the 3 teams below us Portsmouth (home) , Ipswich (away) , Durham (away) , ,, so these games could have major influence on the outcome , The other 3 also play today (22 March) , Portsmouth at home to Sunderland , Ipswich away at Forest and Durham away at Southampton, so the table may look different at close of play today , if anyone is unable to attend the games they are all live on YouTube , our game today kicks off at 2pm ,COYRAWW

Hope it goes well for you!

Of the bottom 4 teams Durham got a point with the other 3 , including Blades losing , this has left Portsmouth and Ipswich on 14 , Blades and Durham on 15 , like Paul mentioned in his message a really big game at BDTBL next Saturday 1230pm ,, I know you shouldn't do IFS ( especially being a Blade ) ,,, but ,, if ,,we beat Portsmouth it would put us 4 points in front of them with a goal difference of at least 13 at which point Portsmouth would only have 2 games left meaning a win for us on Saturday would mean Portsmouth needing to win the last 2 , highly unlikely and even then not enough to save them if we were to get 2 points from our remaining 4 games ,, so yes really BIG game on Saturday,,

Tough game away at Southampton today, not a " must win" game but a victory will mean we not going down ,, as the game is live on YouTube Kick off 1230pm , would be good if any pubs around BDTBL could put the game on their TV ,

The Southampton game didn't end as we wanted (2-5) ,, 2 of our relegation threatened opponents both play today Durham are at home to Bristol City (1200) while Ipswich travel to Crystal Palace,,,, our next 2 games are both away at Ipswich and then Durham, so while survival is in our own hands a little help from both Bristol City and Crystal Palace would be very welcome

Following this weekends games it now means that if we were to win our next game away at Ipswich on 22nd April we would be safe

Big game tonight 7pm away at Ipswich , it is live on YouTube , a shame it clashes with game at BDTBL , , basically win and we are safe , if we don't win it's get the calculator out , but safety is in our own hands

The game at Colchester v Ipswich didn't go to plan , allowing Ipswich to now be just 1 point behind us ,, On to Sunday where we start earlier than the other games at Durham (12noon) , a win for The Blades and we are safe , , our goal difference has took a bit of a battering last 2 matches , our goal difference was 13 better than bottom club Portsmouth but now only 7 better ,
With 2 games left
Sheffield United (-17) 18 PTS
Ipswich (-20) 17pts
Durham (-10) 16 PTS
Portsmouth (-24). 14pts
(Only 1:team relegated) ,

A win at Durham and we are safe , failing that all eyes to the Portsmouth v Forest game at 2pm

Getting nervous now , this could go to us needing something from final game v Bristol City at BDTBL ,, ,, Could really do with Portsmouth losing today to get it over and done with ,, here's something you don't hear me say very often " come on forest"

Ipswich took early lead at Birmingham so we currently sitting next to bottom , I'll say it again " come on forest"

Ipswich away at top of league Birmingham and are 3-0 up in 15 minutes

Well done to them - great achievement to stay up in the WSL2 this season after having had to almost completely rebuild a squad after the shambles of last season.

And let’s not forget - still the only Women’s Super League team in Yorkshire. Most other teams in Yorkshire don’t invest much atall in women’s football.

Bit of relief that we are safe going into last game of season , currently sitting 11th out of the 12 , depending on today's results we could end up 9th ,10th or 11th but importantly not 12th
