Great performance hope Hamer isn't too bad and Cannon had a ankle boot on at full time.

Shame other results didn't go out way but one or Sunderland and Leeds drop points this weekend its down to us to make that count

Be some pressure on Carrick soon if they don't start making strides to lock in a play off spot.

COH also had a great game
Everyone has had a great game today all of them looked proper up for it not a bad player on the pitch today Clarke reminds me so much of Bogel when he played for us good going forward a bit suspect at the back but we will see only slight criticism I have of today

Not to be a downer, maybe a little, but seriously what is going on with Burrows? Poor crossing, lacked bite in the tackle, seemed a little off the pace. Hopefully he'll be back to his best as we'll need him against Weeds

Make your praise as loud as your criticism.

That was the best we've played all season, especially considering the sucker punch courtesy of the ref just before HT.

Some of the football in tight pockets was incredible in the first half and the second half was patient, functional and clinical.

No playing across the back and back to keeper.... we were on the front foot huge difference..

Peck was awesome and what a fantastic channel pass to BBD....

My first thought: not playing side to side for them to regroup but forwards, fast and into the key players was such a breath of fresh air. In the first half it just played to Hamer's strengths. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. There were a couple of interceptions that caused a worry, but more reward than risk.

Best we've been for weeks. Was expecting a tough game but we utterly shat all over Boro's plans. The Pen was soft and we finished in style. Had a moment, when we brought Hamza and Davis on, to reflect. We've just brought Hamza Choudhury and Tom Davis on, the see out a game. This is United right!?

Much better performance. We actually got some good moves going, even if the final ball/finish wasn't always good enough. Has to be said Boro were woeful and Illing Jnr produced one of the worst performances I've seen in a long time. Lots of energy from Hamer and O'Hare buzzing around. Solid in the middle of the pitch. Clarke much better tonight. Formation worked much better but still question marks over Cannon as he is still on a different wavelength. Campbell was so much better when he came on. For all the dominance and bice play it's worth noting that two of our goals were from defensive errors still. We need to be more clinical.

Cooper - 7 - Very solid and good save late on
Burrows - 6 - Not great by his standards, both going forward and in defence.
Robbo - 5 - Stupid penalty to give away. You can argue all day about it, but he gives the ref the opportunity to punish him by being so blatant (I think the ref's line of sight only sees Robbo at it). He was poor on several other occasions as well. Slow in thought and deed at times. Gives the ball away too easily.
Anel - 6.5 - Did well for the goal, albeit a keeper error. Kept coming out first half with the ball and then losing it, but generally good defensively.
Clarke -7 - Much better game from him. Especially defensively, although Boro never attempted to run at him (which is really poor scouting!)
Souza - 7.5 - Good strong game. covered a lot of ground.
Peck - 6.5 - Thought he was poor first half. Gave the ball away a lot but gets through so much work. Great ball for the goal and got better as the game went on.
O'Hare - 7 - Lots of backheels but he's also quite weak and slow. Dawdled too much for the first goal and got caught a few times. We're much better with him on the pitch though.
Hamer - 6.5 - I'm surprised he stayed on but great ball for the first and a lot came through him. Faded a bit second half with the injury.
JRS - 6.5 - Followed in well for the goal and looked a danger first half. Pretty anonymous in the second.
Canon - 5 - Poor again. Not on the same wavelength as O'Hare or Hamer so balls played through are a waste.

Subs

Campbell - 6.5 - Looked much more dangerous when he came on. Terrible miss when clean through and just needed to square it though.
BBD - 6.5 - Does very little in general play but great run and finish for the goal.
The other subs didn't really make much impact.

Not the worst thing to hear shame as I think he will come good with game time but right now I want to see Campbell starting the matches so at least might force him into that change but a big problem with the bench again then for striker till Moore is back fit

Think you’ve been harsh on Anel for his goal.

He was strong in the challenge with the defender and didn’t let the keeper have an easy catch. He was brave and deserved his goal.
