That’s near enough the best midfield Cannon can hope to have behind him, so hopefully we’ll get a better performance out of him.

im very worried about tonight. because if we defend anything like Saturday. this could be very damaging. as its not stupid to say pompey couldve had at least 4 on Saturday. hoping this more normal line upleaves us alot more balanced as the 433 expierment didnt work. & some good firepower to come off the bench

Got no complaints with this lineup. (apart from potentially Cannon and Clarke) not going to hear any complaints on starting XI from me.

(If a player plays poorly and takes ages to be subbed that's a different story )

Same concern as much of the chat the last few weeks, holding onto the ball with Cannon up top by himself. Would have liked to see BBD up top for this one, feels he would have give us that agrression to claim the ball and get in the Boros centre backs and make space three behind him. Then that risk of Boros pace on the counter attack, if/when our build up play breaks down. Still I feel there will be a lot of energy across the park with Peck and Rak-Sakyi on a high after their cameos at the weekend and OHare going full tilt. I feel oddly confident, for no logical reason.
