I'd love to know what CW really thinks of his record signing.
But I guess he'll never admit it.

I'm sure he's disappointed like we all are. But we can't ignore the injuries and what could've been without them. He's still fairly young, so it's not like he's a lost cause. But at some point he will have to take the next step.

Unfortunately contract runs to the summer.
It is written in the stars that it's never gonna happen for him here.
His wages make him an unsaleable and unloanable asset , so we lose nothing financially by keeping him.
If we renew his contract I would not renew my ST , except that unfortunately my ST deadline is way before his.

I appreciate it was a daft acquisition by the club , insufficient history of success , stupid fee , wages , length of contract etc
And it's not all his fault ,
But
I'm sick of the sight of him
He's a constant reminder of a costly failure
Once he's gone , we can start to forget about him and get on with being a bit wiser with our money.

To get a good idea of the team performance, read S24SU match comments, then Roy’s View from Baggies fan comments, then the Wilder post match comments.

Turns out we did everything possibe to hold our end up with a very inexperienced and very tired bunch of players, held together with string and sticky tape. They seem to think our rag tag bunch didn’t deserve a point! Read between the lines and you can tell we earned it through hard work and team ethos. It certainly wasn’t top 2 football from either side.

How long will that last? Even if COH give Wilder everything he asks for, it might only just get us into the play offs?

Just being realistic really. Without quality additions there is zero chance this squad finishes top 2. It's a miracle we are even in this position and Wilder deserves all the credit for it.
