What a difference a really good referee makes. I thought he was faultless tonight.
Apart from when a few of their players fell over and looked at him and he gave a foul and all the foul throws he missed he was the best for a while.

what a performance. hecky took a few risks to rotate to try to win today & weekend manage the minutes hope we are still in the game towards the end & keep our better players for the last 20 mins. but that the issues with FA Cup midweek. which should never happened. but those stupid foreign managers aticking there oar in as FA cup should always be weekend

i thought it was good half considering the 8 changes & they not be as good as they were it was still champions league opposition. who as 5 live were saying could go deep in that. & just what an absolute magician ndiaye is. bring on the quarter finals

my guess for the FA Cup TV schedule (although the 17th surprised me. i thought it was always 2 Saturday 2 Sunday)

Friday - Man Utd v Fulham 7.45pm ITV

Saturday - Sheffield United v Blackburn 12.30pm BBC
Brighton v Grimsby 5.30 pm ITV

Sunday - Man City V Burnley 4pm BBC

also its weird stat, global pandemic aside with Chelsea 2021. 1968 is the last time with fans there wasnt a FA Cup quarter final at the lane. 1990 1993 1998 replay 2003 2014 2020 2023. all at home

You missed 2004 - we lost 1-0 away at Sunderland.

Basham MOM for me. JLT second. Incredible desire to win every ball
Brooks had a nervy start but recovered well. He will remember this night. Well done lad!
Bash was fucking immense. Couple of mistakes yes, but overall he was like prime 2019 Chris Basham. Shout out to Jacky Long Throw as well...absolutely magnificent.

Sheffield United cup upset is barely news according to the BBC, sits below an article on "Everton - shit aren't they" which isn't exactly news

Miguel Freckleton was supposed to start last night. Red tape problems stopped it. Recalled from loanspell. 6ft4 commanding cb.

Was wondering if that who Hecky was talking about in interview.

ITK info or just putting 2 and 2 together?

For once my southern-softy colleagues had done their homework and were ready for me on Teams before I got in for my first day back since the Spurs game this morning:
