This season has been the worst ever in my 57 years. Never have we been so comprehensively beaten so often. Never have our heads dropped so easily.

I don’t blame Wilder or Heckingbottom, as both have been asked to perform an impossible task.

My worry is that we’re on a downward spiral. These played that were out there today against Spurs are at best mediocre and are not good enough to make the play offs. They make too many mistakes and wrong decisions.

In particular the defence is major liability. I would be rid of them all except Robinson.

I believe as fans we deserve a statement from our owner. How has he allowed this to happen?

And lastly I really there’s no end of season trip to the sunshine for this set of players.
