They look a lot more composed and slick on the ball compared to us. Its fairly even but they look more threatening.

What we desperstely need is someone who can go past a man. All this possession football is.well and good but we need a game breaker.

And then Mcatee does that 😀

Early doors I know (tonight and in the season) Blackburn top losing to Reading who got tonked by Rovrum on saturday.

Glad they got a red card because before that it was hard to tell who the home team was with Sunderland defenders often high up on the halfway line.

I don't actually think we're playing particularly well tbh.

Think Ndiaye needs a rest, as looked tired that first half. Probably go with Khadra for Ndiaye.

Sunderland certainly aren't mugs, and I think we're a team searching for a little bit of a rhythm and also heckingbottom is searching for the right team selections and tactics which Is understandable considering the multitude of options, but I think when things start to click I think we'll be a top side

Brewster needs to settle down a bit. Just be patient and he’ll score.
He's quickly becoming the new Mousset for me - I want so much for him to find form but he just doesn't quite seem to be getting there.

Hope the lad springs in to action and gets his goal, getting off the mark could be the key.

Fair play to Anel, I don't know if it's depressing or not that I like how he made a simple header look so simple. He even nearly bagged a goal that was meant to be a cross.

Sunderland are rattled, if we could stop seeming like we have such low energy and just attack, we could bag a couple extra

We were sloppy, not at our best, but still were in an even game against a confident team. We're playing a debutant youngster in a key position, so not exactly a settled system like theirs.

We were growing into being the better team. Now we'll hopefully come on strong. Goals for Brewster and McAtee...

Not the greatest half, fairly even with them having actual shots until the red card and goal. We need to use the ball much better with the extra man. Pass it through them, less of the high and hopeful.

Brewster's workrate is so much better than when he signed.

What we.must.do second half.is.go after.the second to kill the game. We can not afford to sit back and defend deep or they will score.
