Decent first half. Pretty comfortable for the most part. Hamer has been anonymous but Davies has been exactly what he showed he at this level.
Bit more composure up front second half sees us win this.
Stewart for Soton looks a good champ target man.

One of the things that is always impressive about the Wilder/Knill management, is that ability to drill these fairly fluid formations into the teams fairly quickly. It's going to be tight 2nd half, but it's been a good performance. I guess Campbell and Davies won't last for too long, that can make a difference, so I hope we go hard for the first 15 mins or so. One big concern, is despite having McGuinness and Mee, Stewart is still bossing things in the air. O'Hare at his energiser bunny best is really unsettling them.

Saying on sky red button was for kicking bottle, hit a fan but wilder apologised and checked on them.

Ha what a crazy ending to that half. Never a red for wilder it was clearly accidental! Don't think he can jump on the next wayward pass now though

Davies quality shows. Even if Cooper did try to make him look like a fool for a perfectly fine back pass.

Some finish by Campbell. That's a confidence lifter!

Good half that. Southampton better than Oxford obviously so we had to step it up a bit and we have. Can we keep it up for 90 mins though? This is the issue we need to sort. Fingers crossed we can tonight!

Lucky to still be in front but we'll take that. Campbell has scored which is a plus. Southampton winning the midfield battle now and causing problems down our left mainly due to Hamer not being fit enough to track back and provide Burrows with support. Hamer already struggling. Use of substitutes will be critical because our fitness levels are poor. Not sure how long Davies can last.

Once again a look at me ref but then again its what you get in this division.

Cooper looks flakey having nearly given them a goal with poor footwork and jumping in for the pen. We need to up the work rate in the middle. Will be a long second half.
