PNE will hopefully be tired after Burnley and Swansea. Up and at em in the first 20 minutes, get TC on the score sheet and cruise control to 3 points

Driving to Bramall Lane for the first time, usually my Dad drives as I couldn’t drive but now I have passed my test in October and feel confident on the roads i’m ready to give it a go. Looking forward to the game. UTB.

Also the drive is around 1 hour and a half, we live in Cheshire so it’s quite a long drive with traffic.

Preston North End are a great historic football club, the club of Tom Finney and Chris Sedgwick and that says it all about what an incredibly unbelievably difficult game this is going to be. They have a phenomenal solid bunch of lads and I only wish our lads were as solid as them. And what a top top manager Hecky is. We've got our hands full getting a point from this one

Think it will be a difficult game as preston are a team who can close a game down and will frustrate us , hope we get an early goal to ease any nerves. And for fck sake have a real good go at them

Let it go.

Take your time, take your time William Carey, take your time, take your time I say….take your time, take your time William Carey..drive your car the Norwich way👍🤣⚔️

Hecky reminded me of Nigel Clough.

A very pragmatic, tactically defensive, very solid manager. When he joined Preston it basically gauranteed they wouldn’t relegated.
Think Hecky will be playing for a 0-0 at half-time, then hope to knick a late goal for a 1-0 win.

My view is…..we need to score in the 1st 30 minutes….then the game will open up and it will be much easier, more entertaining game.
However if it’s 0-0 at half time. Preston will park the bus in the 2nd half and will be really difficult to break down.
Could be a frustrating afternoon, however think we’ll win 1-0…….maybe 2-0…..expecting a tough game.

Ched has been on the Preston bench recently and came on in the 84th minute v Burnley. Expect him to be named as one of Preston's subs tomorrow, and we may see him on the pitch if they are chasing the game.

He just said he isn’t ready to start yet. They’re “managing his minutes”
Yeah, just listened back and you're right, he mentioned 'managing minutes'. Him not being available for a start and with Clark and Gilchrist out makes our RB choices somewhat limited.

RB rn is an Achilles heal. Rest of the positions are great to good. Hope whoever plays there has a blinder, not blind l, but a b-lined- errrrr

Hope Hecky gets good reception.

Attritional game as reflected in my bet builder but we should win

So , at last , your Dad can have a pint or three 😄
