If we play Souza and Choudhury and a back 4 we have 7 players who barely get over the half way line. Against lower table sides at home we have to be more attacking but I'm not sure Wilder will see it the same.

Cooper
Clarke Holding Anel Burrows
JRS Hamer Choudhury Ohare BBD
Campbell

With a very strong bench
4 players regularly over the half way line plus attacks from Burrows and Anel. How many do we need bearing down on goal ?

I think with Choudhary playing we would (hopefully) see Souza pushing further forward and more frequently. I actually think he would be well suited to it and we could see some really good performances from him; he's got the engine for it, a good shot and he's strong on the ball. Would love to see him make some surging drives forward with the ball!

Can't see Wilder dropping Cannon or COH personally. Hamer must come back in, plus i think he will stick with the Vini/Choudhury combo;

Super Cooper

Clarke Anel JLT Burrows
Gus Vini Hamza BBD
COH
Cannon

Think Holding will definitely start.

Robbo was saying in one of the post game interviews how knackered some of the players are feeling.

Think RH will steady the ship and we'll have a more solid, reliable spine like the Soutts/Anel combo.

Even if we do go with Hamza/Souza, we have so many players who can play on the counter and get forward quick.

Cooper
Clarke Gilchrist Anel Burrows
Souza Peck
Hamer
Campbell Cannon BBD

Let’s go for this all guns blazing, they’re not very good and our attack is too good for this level if utilised correctly.
That would be ambitous, but if we did have that formation then I'd tweak it slightly if I was picking the team.

Cooper
Clarke Anel Robbo Burrows
Souza Choudhury
Hamer
Campbell Cannon BBD

or maybe:

Cooper
Gilchrist Anel Robbo
Clarke Souza Hamer Burrows
Campbell Cannon BBD

Got to beat Pompey and Luton there’s every chance we’ll get no points from our next two home games.

If we play Souza and Chodhury against Portsmouth’s inevitable low block then it’s going to be a long 90 mins!
Exactly, although I suppose they can fight each other on the edge of the centre circle as to who takes the ball off Anel!

Got to go more attacking, it's a shame Seriki is injured as this kind of game is made for his attacking prowess.

2 up front is a must
Cooper
Clarke, Anel, Robbo, Burrows
Hamer, Souza, Choudury
Ohare, Cannon, Diaz
go for it from the start!

hi ill make my homemade pasta man feast all round when we win ,i predict a rout a 2.0 result and 3 points at the s2 lane v pompey and rock on tommy cannon gets 2 goals we will hammer them no probs all the best to you all...utb..chow.forza blades for life..utb..we fear no one we will GO UP.ciao...

They have named Marks Stevens & Ian Cooper as Assistant Referees (or linesmen as we used to call them )
Do they actually do anything during a game
They don’t seem to see anything that happens on the pitch
They often don’t flag which way the throws should go, and wait for the ref to intimate this.
When the ref gets a decision wrong they don’t pull him up on it
They do flag offside (very late) & often reluctantly

Having been a Sheffield & Halamshire ref also running the line myself, I really see no point in linesman nowadays
It must take a weird personality to do a job in the public eye where you clearly do absolutely fuck all

Not his style

Clarke can attack down RW

This game in particular , please CW , get them to show some fast attacking - let's see what you've been coaching them.
Get on the front foot Blades , let's have some cohesion going forward and some flair.

Need a statement win. Total domination from first whistle to the last. Sends a message to the other three we mean business. We had our season bump and we're ready to kick on. Wilder loves a good psychological battle, a great win will give us an edge for the run in. 5 zip. Portsmouth have zero shots on goal.
The business end of the season starts Saturday. UTB

I hope your forecast is absoutly spot on. My hope is for the new signings to settle quickly and fit in. My other hope is for our new centre back to relax at last, and show us what’s been missing. A solid performance where it all clicks into place for everyone.

Or maybe they are saving that performance for our next away game?

We don’t have any fast attacking players, it will be more of the same slow turgid pass sideways and backwards
Scrape a 1-0
