I was genuinely going to post at the start of the match about playing Bamford and Campbell on the wrong sides. Campbell is a brilliant finisher from right to left and gets assists from the that side as well, while Bamford is much stronger striking across goal. But, I am always cautious about posting before the game and then seeing I am talking nonsense as usual, in this case I just imagined Bamford then scoring a blinder from the right......and lo and behold.... So I am going to keep my view on Diaz playing on the left to myself for the second half as well......

This formation’s crap. This ref’s crap.
They struggled against 4-3-3. We could have gone with that, though Ty assisted the goal so hard to say.

Not been able to get a stream where I am. Just nipped over to Philippines for the week.

How are we playing?

Slimane looks handy. A player we never really gave a chance to that has some of the qualities we’re desperately lacking, as well as others like Soumare. We’ve really made a mess of the last couple of years of squad building and given away young athletic players in favour of Rothwell’s & McGuinesses because we want ‘ready made’ players instead of developing good raw attributes.

We also had Musaba on our doorstep we could have picked up for next to nothing from a desperate Wednesday.

Don’t think we deserve to be going in behind but it’s nice to have a team with some guts and fight to them, makes you realise how poor last years squad was in that respect.

I’m actually looking forward to the second half with belief we can get 1 or 3 points.

Choudhury has been terrible first couple games back, hopefully it's lack of match sharpness but im starting to think he was made to look good because of the players he had around him in his first spell

Nah.

I hate to be the one to break it to you as he did alright when you had him on loan, but in general, he is just shit.

If you look at the large section of red from the 17th of February onwards this when we had to play at him a right back because we had no one else :-D

Choudhury is having a nightmare again. He’s not a rb & doesn’t give us anything extra in possession either, strange strange signing.
Yep if we needed a back up right back (despite already signing one in Doherty and having Shackleton) then sign a f in right back not our 4th DM ffs

Pretty much same as usual mate. We had a 20 minute spell in the first half where we were better without creating much, still relying on second balls etc, no control in midfield.

They’ve overall been in control, a lot more composure & pace and have had quite a few decent chances. Defensively been far too easy to get behind us.

You can’t just make like for like changes and hope they will be enough. I know Chris wants the international break to look at the formation but 4-3-3 was one they struggled with. It would have outnumbered their midfield too. Unless the two strikers are on fire I don’t see 4-4-2 giving us enough control.

Would be nice to at least try something different for the last 20 mins. We’re just letting the game drift so why not stick an extra midfielder on & play 433.

And it’s not that Norwich are a good side. They are awful but we are worse..
I mean they put 4 past Burnley so they are hardly mugs are they and also have far better resources than us given they were able to pay us a decent fee for Brooks.
