That went perfectly. The 2nd goal went in at the perfect time, just like at Watford, and it was a good performance all across the team, with pretty much everyone at least a solid 7

6 points out of 9 with the injuries and no signings is very satisfactory

A fine performance overall. Solid defensively, frequently threatening offensively, and got the goals to make it count.

They play a bit like a Russell Martin side. Absolute adherence to a passing philosophy, even if it means putting their own keeper under pressure. Works to a point in the Championship, but if that Norwich team got to the PL, they'd achieve something similar to what Southampton have done so far.

It was nice to see us attacking with a bit more urgency today. Can be a little sluggish to get forward at times, but we were more hurried today, and it caused Norwich a bunch of problems. Stats reflect it too - 22 total shots, off of only 39% possession according to Sky.

Super first goal by Burrows. Lovely take on the chest, and a terrific volley too. Very much enjoyed watching that turd Gunn flapping his way across the goal, only for the ball to cross the line anyway. Very confident pen from Burrows too. That makes a nice change - think every pen we've had before that this season was hit with close to zero confidence. Knowing we've someone who's not afraid to take a pen, makes things much calmer if/when we get one.

Extremely satisfying to see BBD in the stand. That's a signing that will immediately put other clubs on high alert for when they have to face us.

Positives all around - hopefully we can follow it up on Tuesday.

The remaining bench players had an average of 15...ish. Can't wait from new signings and returning players. We are top with that bench...phenomenal achievement

Sydie Peck is a real beast. Must be a nightmare to play against. Growing with authority all the the time.

Slowish start from both teams and generally a poor atmosphere in the 1st half.
We were the better team and scored a lucky goal, that went in off the post, went over the line and spun towards the other post and came out.
However right at the end of the 1st half O’Hare was put clean through with just the keeper to beat from close range.
However much of the credit goes to Gunn who pulled off a brilliant save and was their man of the match.

Deserved 1-0 at half time.

2nd half we started with more energy kicking towards the Kop.
A goal was coming then we got a penalty. Burrows put it right inside the post but Gunn still almost saved it.
At 2-0 up I interested to see how we’d react and instead of sitting back protecting the 2-0 lead, we became more consistent and went for a 3rd and 4th goal.

Ended up winning 2-0.
A very solid/ good performance altho think Norwich played a part because they were poor.
In fact Norwich played as though they knew they would lose so they wrote off this match preferring to save energy for the other matches this week.
They played like it was an end of season match with nothing to play for.
The Norwich build up play and passing was decent but totally toothless up front, never looked like scoring
And it turned into a surprisingly easy and comfortable win and the atmosphere was much better in the 2nd half too.

Our man of the match: Hamer, he had a rare outing playing centrally, so he was much more involved than normal and he thrived on it.
A really exciting prospect to think we can have BBD playing on the left wing in Hamers position and we move Hamer into the centre.
Their man of the match: Angus Gunn, some of his saves were incredible, could have easily been 4 or 5-0.

Was a solid dominant display as you'll ever see.

But that was a very poor Norwich performance.

Soooo negative, determined to just pass it around the defence and then boot it long when got any pressure.

Their fans are not convinced by their manager and think they have overperformed this season thanks to Sainz when available.

I'd say Norwich were 1 of 12 clubs in the division that are just treading water. They have 2 or 3 good players but have a lack of togetherness and willingness to close down. There's 6 clubs that are struggling in the bottom 6 which leaves 6 that will contest at the top 4 of which will fight for the autos. We have the right mental attitude needed to be where we are with individuals playing with purpose and a bit of joy.and are up for the challenge

Was nervous about the game beforehand, looking at our line up, I feared in for a disappointing afternoon, not capitalising on Burnley and Sunderland drawing. But Norwich were terrible. Not sure what fame Bromby was watching. Their fans were pants too, quietest away fans I recall - Cardiff’s 150 in the cup made more noise.
