Annoyingly they hit us on the counter, we've played well this half. Lavery and Brooks both unlucky.

I think we can totally forget about Ched Evans on this evidence. He's not match fit and isn't likely to ever get match fit unless he plays regularly for the u23s.

Shall I save everyone the hassle for the post match Evans reaction:

If he scores:

Pro - 'Told you so'. Tonight proved he's good enough, has to start Saturday. Will score for fun if given the chance. Scored against premier league opposition.

Con - well it was only against their reserve team. Doesn't prove anything, still need another striker before Saturday

If he doesn't score

Pro - well, he isn't even match for yet. He showed some great touches against premier league opposition and still showed more than sharp does. Has to start on Saturday based on that.

Con - so, another game where's Evans didn't score. Looked woefull off the pace and not up to sped against a reserve team. Proves we still need a striker before Saturday.

There we go, no need for all the threads now, got it covered.

There were absolutely no PRO'S

Based on this game baldock has to start over freeman for me he looks like a great wingback with all the attributes that are required for the position

Should've been sent off first half, scores their 2nd

Worrying that one man dropping deep had 15 yards of space for that goal. Although you'd like to think Fleck or Coutts might have been sat in

Would this Leicester team from tonight win the Championship? I think they probably would quite comfortably

Disappointing performance this second half.

Number of times we turnover possession, same against Boro is worrying.

Terrible clearance by Carruthers for the goal. Seemed as if he thought his clever flick to create himself space was job done.

Could be embarrassing if we are not careful. We had 3 United men towards the back stick when that third went in. Regardless of the opposition, we didn't go up with defending like that.

Got it on radio got no complaints whatsoever unlucky not to have scored a few times but it sounds like Leicester have finally woken up and got going that and that musa they've got sounds garbage sounds like Baldock had a good game lavery seems to have had a decent 2nd half again by sounds of it they've just beaten us for pace and better finishing Edwards who usually highlights errors and mistakes made by specific players (he did it for Cardiff first goal last week) hasn't highlighted any mistakes, you learn things from games like this against opposition like this

Carruthers with a fancy flick on the edge of his own area - gave the ball away for third.

Well there's the 'evening up' we were talking about from the wrongly called offside goal against Middlesbrough. Leicester's 4th shouldn't have been offside...

Agree poor linesman. Rather have the point v Boro and be four down now.

Some positives to take though.
Baldock, Brooks and others getting good competitive game time.
At times we've looked decent against whatever people say is a team packed with quality and pace.
Losing in the EFL Cup to a premiership does not define our season or what we can achieve

Don't agree mate. Replay shows the scorer was offside when the initial pass was player through.

Quality play from Lavery there.
