It's because they started using powdered milk which altered the taste.

Apparently if it bears their "Glass & Half of Milk" slogan, it has to have been made with real milk. Dairy Milk for example tastes the same. Mini Eggs etc. now have that cheap "advent calendar" type chocolate inside.

Did a job there once and it was the staff member that told me that.

Anything with "Dairy Milk" or "A Glass & Half" - you're fine.

Apparently ^^^ Just going on what i was told and it does seem to ring true.

I do remember Caramel Bars tasting different for a bit. I bet they received complaints and so had to backtrack

One massive thing thats gone unnoticed here is that Cadburys are donating their advertising opportunities to I assume struggling local businesses. fair play

Quite relieved by this news to be honest. I had totally avoided any form of snacking, up until the club's position on which brand I should go with, was clear.

If the club can sort out an "official trouser supplier" sponsorship, that'll dovetail nicely with the impeding weight I'll gain from all my forthcoming Cadbury's purchases.
