No it's not what Marlon King and Ched said i their respective police statements. It's our new sponsor.

Quick quid, marlon king and she bangs. Quite a week

Probably not, in all honesty. Still irritating mind, especially when the sound goes over the top of the music I was listening to!

Our esteemed leader would let the devil sponsor newborn babies to make a quick buck. Erm quid.

I can see it at the hospital. As it pops out, you hear the jingle this baby was brought to by Continental tyres, Carlsberg, Sheffield United and Satan. Your fanny exit sponsors. Now buy a season ticket little bladey blade or burn in hell. Kerching.

Girona is NOT Barcelona, they are as far apart as Sheffield and Birmingham!

That's unlikely to deter Ryanair. We're talking about the airline that flies to Frankfurt-Hahn, which is not only nowhere near Frankfurt, it's the other side of Wiesbaden, which is a fair size place in its own right.

To be fair to Ryanair, they do actually fly to Barcelona El Prat too (from East Midlands at least).

lets not be fair to Ryanair, they are crusty jizzmops of the highest order.

But why? I don't get all the hate personally - I approach it in the same manner as getting a bus - it gets you there reasonably cheaply but at the expense of sycophantic customer service.

Fair enough if people have experiences of cancelled/delayed flights... it puts a downer on things. But I don't think Ryanair are statistically any worse than the others and I don't see as much venom aimed towards Jet2 etc.

I think some peoples' complaints can be more correctly attributed to their inability to read.

Airport 50 miles away from where you thought it was? Poor planning. There's these wonderful things called Google Maps which, revolutionary idea I know, actually show you where places are!

Forget to print/lost your boarding pass? Honestly?! Print a dozen copies at work like everyone else does and stash them in every pocket.

Charged for excess hand luggage? The restrictions are 55 x 40 x 20cms and no more than 10kgs. It's not a secret. It's here look: http://www.ryanair.com/en/terms-and-conditions#regulations-cabinbaggage Tape measures and weighing scales are your friends.

Food on the plane too expensive? Take your own food on! No one is holding you at gunpoint.

They can be shitty... but no worse than anyone else and half the price. We got to Barcelona for £90 return and Ireland for £35.

And so we get to the point. Cheap flights, cheap airlines. Ryan air are by far the worst airline I have flown. I've flown internally on Kazakhstan and Russia, but I always felt safe. I've only ever felt at risk with easyjet, Ryanair and jet2 and one flight on air Astana when the chute activated when we arrived at schipol. The crew of all of those listed gave no confidence, they had no care for passengers but that was safety.

Cheap flights attract idiots, sadly. A bus journey is generally 10-30 mins, a flight 1-5 hours in Europe. Quite a difference when you're sitting next to a tosser

This is completely nothing to do with football. But it may interest Swiss Blade to learn that I flew from Manchester to Fukuoka and back for about £564 or something t'other week and I didn't have a next door neighbour either way, just a grandstand view of the Gobi desert, still if you don't like cheap flights....

I reckon mine was probably about the cheapest trip per mile I've ever been on and that includes cycling.

Yep just done the maths and its 9p/mile. If I cycle from Doncaster to Clumber Park, its 44 miles there and back and I would spend at the very least £6 on vittles just to keep my well oiled machine (my body) going = 14p/mile.

I find walking is cheaper - but that's probably just me.

Yeah but Ken, if there is such a think as a 'heavy-eater' its me, so even if I were out hiking I reckon it'd be hard to get down to 9p/mile for food and drink, truly I think that aeroplane trip was cheaper than walking.

Yep - me too - point taken - I'm getting a reight roasting this week.
Feels like I have a pro contract at Sheffield United :o
