Such a lonely man. He’s thought ‘I’m going to sign up to another teams forum to give them my thoughts’

I’m picturing a lonely middle aged man, sat on his computer eating a selection box that he bought himself for Christmas getting his Christmas joy on other clubs forums.
I'm picturing a bloke who's high-sixing his mates because he's just reversed out of his Sister

Well this is interesting isn't it..

1. wish somebody had screenshot the tweets..
2. Still dont know what lunnys dad said..

Other than that, I think sharp would be a better option than brewster at the moment because I think brewster isn't ready yet, I think it's the pressure of the price tag that he's starting games, very unlike Chris Wilder to bow to that if its the case, wilder admittedly nursed Brooks in the past into full pelt football, so does he think brewster ready, cause I don't, he looks miles off ready.

For me the squad need an EGM and a bollocking from the gaffer, then turn the floor over to the players and have a good fucking sort out between themselves because wags worrying about premier league status when thier partners aren't really worries me.

Even our wags are crap lower championship, league 1 standard.. Plain Jane girl next door types... No way up to premier league standard.. bet none of them have been in a girl band or are underwear models....

John Terry and Ryan giggs wouldn't even bother 😔

You lost count of the amount of “gilt edged” chances we have created and passed up ?

The amount of “good” chances ?

The amount of “half” chances ?

This is far too simplistic a conclusion in my opinion.

We have not been at our creative best. For sure. I can get on board with that. Hoofball has much to answer for this !!!

But.

Let’s not hide behind this “we don’t create shit” strap line. It’s Bullcrap !!!

Last few games I've seen billy sharp he has missed enough easy chances to win us each game by quite some margin

That's usually the managers fault though

Sharp in a top Championship side vs McBurnie in the same side.

Who does best ?

Why ?

You know where I stand on this one. Which is why I am frustrated at the gaffers choices atm.

No amount of aerial duels won, and lost, will change that !!!

2018/19
McBurnie in an average Swansea side which finished 10th: 22 goals in 42 apps (33.8% of Swansea's 65 goals)

Sharp in a very good United side which finished 2nd: 23 goals in 40 apps (29.5% of United's 78)

They're very similar in stats except McBurnie was 21 so on the way up while Sharp was 32 so at best plateauing. McBurnie also.scored a lot of Sharp-style goals (first time finished <8 yards from goal).

That doesn't fit your narrative though so I'm sure you'll have a valid reason why Sharp would be better three seasons later.

TBF we've got that bird off Corra.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment the thoughts are clearly an extension of what Sharp and Fleck are going home and moaning about. That’s our captain potentially stirring the pot.

We have much bigger problems than this, not worth getting het up about.

Grown men following a footballers wife on twitter and handing insults out about her facial features because of a tweet which might have nothing to do with football or her husband. Same people will take the piss out of Porktalk ,its far worse on here ,how fucking low are some going to go ?

Good post, both him and Sharp have know one to blame but themselves.

"Sharp is the best striker at the club"? I don't think so, Moose is the best striker at the club, even half fit he offers more at this level than Sharp could dream of.
Ridiculous.

Moose looked great for approx 10 weeks, away from that, hes looked garbage

An absolute fraud of an athlete.

Agreed mate. I would hazard a guess that most of us on here are hardly going to give Beckham a run for his money in the looks stakes.

Firstly one point we can near enough all agree on... Billy Sharp is a genuine legend of the club and will rightly go down in this clubs history as one of the greats. The beneath is no slight on Billy whatsoever.

Few thoughts...

Billy knew when he signed his contract it would be a diminished role, and signed it to remain part of the club he loves. Think its a hugely cynical view to criticise that as banking one last paycheck. Might have even been on lesser terms?

When Billy has played this year he's been as bad as the rest of them. Whereas others (McB, Brew, Mousset) have there best days ahead of them, unfortunately Billy's are certainly behind him. If he's no better than the rest, you might as well player those who will be here for the foreseeable and could improve.

Whilst this is hypothesising If we'd signed Billy start of last season and the past 18 months were all we knew of Billy as a blade, and perhaps he wasnt a local lad, or even a fan i can guarantee that based on his Premier League performances we wouldn't be clamouring for him to be starting?

He probably still could have something to offer if we were playing well, and whilst it's a bit cliché he is the most 'natural finisher' or poacher at the club. However we simply are creating anything in the box for Billy to latch onto, and his general play has never really been his strongest point. Same applies for Brewster tbf.

On the WAG / Twitter stuff, however you look at it, it's not good and clearly suggests all is not well in the camp.
At best short sighted and worst unprofessional / disruptive.

Can't see at all that either Fleck or Billy are completely unaware what was being posted...

If that was aimed at me I don’t have Twitter. A simple google search was all that was required to check the tweet. I then used the ‘screenshot’ function to post it on here.

The insult about the lips I am guilty of, it’s not a dig at her but more the concept of people stuffing shit in their faces under the pretence that it makes them look better. It’s up to them I suppose but I don’t get why decent looking birds feel the need.

It didn’t work the first time you used it.

It definitely doesn’t straight after someone’s just pulled your pants down in public with a few facts.
Someone upset you fella ?

Got you off your tuffet ?

Can’t imagine who. The mind boggles !!

To be fair, Sharp has bettered Oli's minutes per goal, over the last 3 seasons (see below), despite being 11 years older.

Sharp - 132 minutes (18/19), 349 minutes (19/20), 189 minutes (20/21)
McBurnie - 155 minutes (18/19) - 353 minutes (19/20), 816 minutes (20/21)

If we are using stats, there's little to suggest that Oli is about to return us more goals per minute, than Sharp would.

More worrying than 2 points from 54 ??

See the bigger picture fella !!!!!

Unless Billy has turned into a player who can pick the ball up from his own half, run with it and put it in the oppo’s top bin 3 times a game in the past few weeks then he’s going to make absolutely no difference to that points total 😂
