Moore has to be one of the worst penalty stoppers I have seen. He moved well before the player kicked it every time. Making it an easy decision where to put it. I was nearly screaming at him to just stay in the middle! At least for one of them

Speaking of refunds......
blah blah blah...This competition is our only SEMI realistic chance of ever winning anything, and it is only a SEMI realistic chance at that.
I can't understand why some people cant wait to get out of the competition at the first attempt.
Norwood has come into the team, played well, then missed a penalty which could knock some of the stuffing out of him.
He might be just that little bit less confident now in the games that supposedly do matter
blah blah blah...
Nobody can be a bigger loser than you, who spends his time pretending to be something he is not, for no gain whatsoever !Typical Sheffield United fan, failure is so embedded in your DNA that anyone without the same loser attitude and opinion is obviously not a Blade.
Utter bollox. This competition is our only SEMI realistic chance of ever winning anything, and it is only a SEMI realistic chance at that.

My only concern with Norwood is that when Coutts comes back is Norwood too similar - based on what some have said on here? I would like one of Fleck, Coutts, Norwood to be able to play in the Duffy role as otherwise we might lack creativity? I didn't go tonight so wondering what others thought on Norwood's role would be best at,assuming stick to the 3-5-2. I know we changed it second half but with Coutts back I would hope he would play and then how will it look.
We played Brooks behind Leon last season at times with no Duffy but not so sure Woodburn is going to hit Brooks heights, but its early days of course.
This is brilliant news!He can also take a corner.
Obviously Wilder wasn’t Coutts’ manager the last time he returned from a serious injury but there is still the possibility it could take him all season and basically his impact will be minimal.
To me we now have two very good midfielders in Norwood and Fleck, meaning we can play those two with Duffy/Woodburn in the attacking midfield role and aren’t relying on any impact from Coutts.
If Coutts comes back and hits form pretty quick then great, we have extra competition but the key is we aren’t praying for his return to save our season or anything.
I actually felt we could have scored from a corner last night. Not felt that in a long timeThis is brilliant news!
I, and all those around me, had him as MOTM by a mighty margin. His football did seem Couttsyesque and yes, he was good.....very good. If he plays like that all the time he was a brill signing and could be the difference between an ok season and a very good season. Well done CW/AK .The only thing he did wrong all night, brilliant debut. Wants the ball constantly and goes looking for it, distributes it well too, bit like Coutts in that respect.
This really is something. I guess we still need the players in the box to be taking the chances, but if we're putting decent balls in then its a start.I actually felt we could have scored from a corner last night. Not felt that in a long time

Norwood had an excellent debut...work to do on the training ground as we are very vulnerable to the counter attack.I can't see this game as anything else but an unwanted, experimental runout. We at least got to see Norwood first playing with Duffy, and then with Fleck. All accounts so far seem to be very impressed with him.
Love how loads of people want to see United get kicked out of any competition as early as possible, because let’s face it, it’s hardly going to “distract a promotion season” is it?
Spot on treeton blade. Looking forward to watching him on Saturday. UTBWhat a fantastic bit of business to get this lad for £1.5 million, pure quality, and instant chemistry with Fleck when he came on.
In Wilder`s words a `proper` player, oozes class.
Chuffing Norah, I thought I'd seen the last of Kaizens when I left Santander!100% agree. It's no good hoping Coutts will come back and hit the ground running. CW recognises that and is getting more-than-suitable replacements in. It's called kaizen:
Kaizen is an approach to creating continuous improvement based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes can reap major improvements. Typically, it is based on cooperation and commitment and stands in contrast to approaches that use radical changes or top-down edicts to achieve transformation.

I’m sure the club would love to open all sides if 20,000 fans wanted to watch the squad players play Hull. Unfortunately they don’t.The experiment was taken seriously, and it sounds like we learned quite a lot.
However, when half the ground is closed off by the cub, it doesn't exactly send out good signals.

Lee Evans would've scored that pen. Just saying.
