Does anybody know what season ticket sales we've been getting previous seasons? To me 12,500+ seems a great effort!

AFAIK, there were around 13,000 STH last season, and the rate they have been selling this year is up on last season.

This came up on the OS a few days ago:

http://www.sufc.co.uk/news/article/20140502-season-tickets-663972.aspx

it says that at the kick off of last season we had sold 10,868.

12,500+ is amazing IMO as we should still get a few people outside of the early bird off. Should we be looking at around 15000 by the time the season kicks off or is that very optimistic?

You sure about that Damski?

Thought I heard/read somewhere, we were down at around 10k last season. At the time the rot had well and truly set in. No money. Wilson sacked and looking for a manager. HRH was announced after season ticket sales had all but ended

This season's sales are supposedly well ahead of last season's sales at this particular juncture

Personally, I think 12,528 is a fantastic effort and I would hope a few rich supporters and newcomers will swell the figures even more now the early bird period has ended. If we can sell another 1k - 1.5k I would be absolutely delighted

I'd say 15,000 is very high

13,500 IMO

After about a minute of research that I admittedly should have done before that post, you're right, it was 10,000 last season. So we're way up this season.

Personally I'd be surprised if we got many more at all. Given that discounts were available to returning STH why would people wait. There may be odds and sods who suddenly change circumstances but I would be amazed to hit 13k.

Should be roughly 14,267 by the time we kick-off, given an exciting recruit or two.

Fantastic support, reflecting the newfound confidence in an increasingly well organised club, a very fine manager and a team we can relate to.

Whatever the final figure we shall almost certainly have more ST holders than any other club's average attendance!

We've all had our first season ticket at some time!

I'll be astonished if you're not amazed by 9 August !
:)

I hadn't looked closely but for some reason thought new STH had an early bird price too.

Youre being very optimistic with youre figure of 14, 267 surely a figure of 14, 181 is more like it?

anyone know if i can change my seats when ive already bought a season ticket? the unclaimed ones are very good near the middle and im stranded at the back.

I shifted mine, albeit only to my left by 2, when I renewed last Friday. I think as long as they are unclaimed, you can go anywhere in the stand.

Yep you can, done it a couple of times.

Get Brayford in and it'll shoot back to 18000
That will pay for him and his wages for the two seasons

we have sold 1,660 more than last year.

That's a 15.3% increase which in the present economic climate is remarkable..

Just shows what even a small level of success can do at BDTBL

Absolute nonsense. That's absurdly low. I can't contemplate the remotest possibility of the final figure
being below 14,213.

You've obviously overlooked the incoming student body. They always leave it to the last minute.

Every season we average 6-7,000 more than the season tickets we sold for that season. Looks like we could well be back to a 20,000+ average attendance again this season :)

Injupitably

I even shelled out the extra £55 to buy junior Brownie his first Blades season ticket!!!!

Just don't blag him that the opposition has scored when they haven't. You'll put him reight off the poor lad. ;)

I know someone who bought one and hasn't had one since the 80s. That's the power of the 3 stripes!!
