I think I'm just too far back for you to hear my extensive views on Neil Collins defending and the quality of Martin Woolford's right foot.

TBH - from previous experience of the South Stand, I'll be surprised if it's any better on there

The bloke behind me has got turrets and I'm not joking. It's not just the endless swearing, he makes involuntarily outbursts of noise when passes go astray and it's all very entertaining compared to the side stands where everyone is grumpy all the time and silent.

You also get to hear very drunk people just a few rows further back acting like reight idiots. Last season one really pissed bloke spent the whole of the first half chanting "one Cheddy Evans" all on his own until eventually someone offered to knock his lights out - cue endless stupid arguments

EDIT: in fact I've just remembered why I keep coming to the lane - its got very little to do with what's going on with the team. It's more of a social exercise. Of course I'll be renewing, thanks Tyler, you've saved me from a terrible decision ;-)

Undecided to not re-newing for me, as it stands I'm not re-newing I will pick my games. Should we show a bit of ambition then maybe I would re-new but sadly I just can't see that happening, at the moment I am so disillusioned with everything SUFC those running the club are clueless and make mistake after mistake despite making all the right noises of buying young hungry players, what do we do we bring in old shite on the way down career wise such as Hammond and Woolford and pay them above average wages for this level. Anybody with no attachment to us must look at think we are run by a set of fuckwits only in S2 do people think otherwise mainly because they are scared of change a belief McCabe likes to encourage by saying anyone else would not have our best interests at heart. No the sad fact is a few pints of Moonshine is now the highlight of a matchday down at Bramall Lane, each week it seems to become more of a chore to turn up.

im guessin bloke didnt put one cos he thought no one would be stupid enough to do that or have so little faith in the team that they think that would be the option lol

Honestly right now I'm undecided. Not just because of the football though. With the events of the past 9 months (Gem's illness and passing) have just taken it tole on me physically and mentally. Everyone at united has been a great help through these tough times but for me right now it just doesn't feel the same without her and right now I just don't feel like I do next season. If I don't renew I'll probably just go every now and then and see how things go

Geezer, I don't know the first thing about you or your situation but it looks pretty dark so absolutely, yes, you should renew, and absolutely, yes, I will guzzle a pint or 6 with you pre-match and we can do the walk to the ground together, because that's how it is, whatever's going on in your life you forget for a few hours and have it with the best of them. That's what it's all about.
