Can SUFC bring down the ticket price of remaining home games to a fiver, just to ease the torture?

No they can't. Those of us with season tickets won't be getting a refund, why should anyone else?

Season ticket renewal forms to have the 'retained list' attached to it. If this is a blank piece of paper then I expect a record number of renewals.

How seen off will you be when you part with your hard-earned and the new ticket drops through your door and as the summer transfer window crawls by toward August... we speculate and fantasise about who might be available, who Adkins is rumoured to have his eye on and is officially/unofficially approaching ... then we suddenly learn that Collins is on the retained list ... so is Cuvellier ... Woolford is being given another chance as is Coutts and Hammond, oh, Flynn doesn't seem to be going anywhere either ... and then game one rolls by. Win, lose or draw we don't seem to be playing Brayford and/or Done and two weeks later, apropos of fuck all, both of them have accepted an offer from some or other team and they are gone for an undisclosed amount. We trundle toward the end of the transfer window and hey presto, we sign fucking no one except two 'replacements' who are anything but.

Do you not think this will happen? It's fucking happened the past two fucking seasons. Why shouldn't it happen this coming one?

No one will question your loyalty or your credentials as a Unitedite if you have a little think instead of blindly ker-chinging McCabe's front of shop till so he can shit all over the club and it's fans. His utter bullshit at the beginning of this week (which has been picked apart and just doesn't make sense) and today's result and inevitable next year in this division should give you enough to think about.

It's all about giving certain people the message that this cannot continue and its the only message he will listen to because listening to him, he is quite clear he is right. Unfortunately looking at our playing staff, our league position and our results of late, he fucking well isn't.

I'd rather tell him my thoughts when I have the opportunity, than stop supporting my football club every week.

I shall be renewing. I enjoy football at the lane. I expect nothing from football.
There are highs and lows but sport is like that. If it is too upsetting when the team is not successful or playing badly perhaps best not to support United.
Roll on playoffs or if not next season......Its character building.

Because I think it's never been clearer that we need a complete fresh start in the squad. And even if we don't spend loads on attention-grabbing signings, the existing wage budget should attract enough players to see a promotion push next season.

It's not a lack of money that's our problem - it's a lack of strategy and competence.

I just hope we're capable of learning - it really shouldn't be so hard.

I dunno. Every other strategy doesn't seem to have the right effect, does it? He spent £20bn on the club, he's bought a new pitch. He's hire and sacked some managers. And we are STILL HERE!
