Season ticket renewal deliberation

I am hovering over a season ticket for my local club Elche , they are 6 points clear with 6 games to go and have a huge 6 pointer next wednesday against Deportivo la Coruña , leaving it till next thursday

Aye, six clear of the drop! Look out below...

12th year as a season ticket holder next season, moving to near the front of the South Stand rather than the back (possibly due to my dad and my mate's eyesight not being what it used to be ;)). Looking forward to a different perspective and some new voices around (and hopefully a row with stronger bladders than the ones next to us at the moment ). Whatever division we're in next season I still can't wait! UTB

Get your optician to make a pair of distance glasses suited to watching football and stay where you are. You'll get rained on a lot near the front of the South Stand.

I had some such glasses made and it was wonderful - I could recognise players again!

When I had my cataracts done and new lens in my eyes, that was even better! ;)

Done mine online (sigh).

Any news on how many sold yet?

666? Don't do it, it's a sign. :)

I haven't renewed yet, and I am not too bothered about missing out on the early bird. People keep saying we should judge this season on whether we go up or not. I am waiting to see what the club does if we don't.

Haha I didn't think of that, I think being rained on whilst losing to Burton Albion in a 5th League One season might just push me over the edge

Anyone know how sales of ST's have gone to date?

Renewed yesterday and bought a semi-final ticket, which they stuck onto my ST card. Don't remember them doing that before

Obviously no idea overall but I'm a new STH for next year & there must be at least one other new STH near my seat (unless someone's moved) as the seat where I was for the Bradford game wasn't available so I went a few seats (and an aisle in the middle of those) further along.

Nice one. Is that a first time ST, or just moving stands?

So we've gained one and lost about 2,000.

Looks good to me!

Don't have a clue about overall obviously - I assume there'll be some sort of figures released at some point. Early bird ends tomorrow so at some point after that though at the moment the main focus will be playoff tickets rather than season ticket stats.

Hopefully most are like me and leaving it until the death. No doubt tomorrow I'll be complaining about the website crashing.

I have renewed against my better judgement. It's either negative Nigel or negative wife on a Saturday afternoon, and the wife deserves a break

You may not think it's the smart thing to do at the time, but innit a relief when you've done it.
I mean all the time your thinking, it'll be the same owd same owd again but you do it any way then after you get home deep down inside there's that little voice screaming " knob head" !!! ...........;)

Every season ticket holder I know is renewing, irrespective of the Play-offs outcome. Perhaps we Blades are not as fickle as we try to pretend at times?

Bo , Its a myth that we are fickle . Us fans are reliable , steady , faithful , and aware of all things blades . We just take the piss out of each other , and the club we love ,in times of adversity .

Weve just had many years of practise.:D

Its a drug. Upper when winning and doing well , Downer when losing or doing badly .
