"£6.50 a week" sounds very expensive though.

Thats exactly what i thought. As mentioned previously i usually pay off over 4 to 8 months dependant on what options is best at that time. However £6.50 a week over the eight months is madness, its almost the cost of another ST on the Kop

An admin charge is fine, but as i said before last season the eight month payment option carried an interest rate (The four month didnt) but even the interest worked out at no more than £30

Be cheaper to get a 0% credit card and try and pay it all off before the amount is due.

Surely they are talking £6.50 per week to pay - it can't be the interest. £6.50 per week over 8 months makes about £225. Could that be a concession in the kop at £209 with £16 charge? Did you pay a deposit before the monthly payments last year?

After speaking to the Box Office I know have it clarified for those who are interested.

Based on my renewal, South Stand @ £409.00, the interest has increased pretty much understandably to ~£42.00. This means that for the 8 month option your payments would be ~£56.38 totaling at ~£451.00.

So the "weekly" statement equates to £12.99/week for renewal.

8 months = 32 weeks.

£451 / 32 = £14.10

There are (on average) 4.33 weeks in a month. Hence 8 months is 34 ish weeks, which brings it somewhere closer.

Yeah, sorry about that linz. I'd worked out the weeks to a month based on 52 weeks a year divided by 12 months and then done it from there rather than taking one month as 4 weeks.

When Birch says 'we have reduced prices for the last 3 seasons', is that right? Can anybody clarify what this means please? How much were South Stand tickets in last year 3 years?

Is he saying that the last 3 tickets I have bought have been cheaper than the one I renewed (hoping to be in Premier) in April 2006?

I aint getting at anything here (honestly) - just want to track the price over last few years.

Im pretty sure mine has got cheaper for the last 3 seasons. £299 on the Kop seems fair enough.

Look at it this way, I recently spent £800 on a sofa from SCS. I know its good quality upholstery, comfy and it will last me a good few years (probably 7 to 8 tops). THAT is value for money, so I don't mind spending it.........

Malta = John Street
Fortina Spa = John Street Corner

As for the price of the STs, mine on the South Stand was £379 last season.

e-mailed the box office this am to get details of the direct debit payments as I couldn't find the form they were referring to on the website. Reading between the lines it looked like you submitted the form to the credit company and they notified you of the terms. I didn't think that was right.

Box office e-mailed back saying

"Direct debit forms will be available to download from the website shortly".

In short, I know nothing. Maybe I could get a job there.

Right... here's my two penneth.

Being a lady I want a ladies shirt - the away one to be precise as I have the ladies home one and I love the size and fit of it etc etc.

The voucher I have says "Get 2009/2010 Adult Home, Away or Goalkeeper's Shirt at half the original price! (Original Price £40 Offer Price £20)"

The ladies shirts full price is £30, and they're currently on sale at £20 anyway.... so will my voucher get me one for £15 - half the original price? The T&Cs don't say "adult mens shirts"... Hmmmmmm.......
