Season Preview 09/10

Here we go again Blades!

What are your hopes for the season? : That we achieve a solid play-off place again, not play as much hoof ball and do the double over the oinkers!

How confident are you of achieving that? : 8/10, quite realistic targets I think.

Where do you think we will finish? : We should be good enough for atleast 5th.

Who will be our biggest rivals? : Apart from the local sides, I would say Cardiff and Ipswich, as I think they will be contenders.

Fixture most looking forward to? : The local debys for me.

Who will be our most important player? : Matt Kilgallon, one of our best players last season and his partnership with Morgs is one of, if not the best in the league. Keeping him is vital.

Your terrace hero? : Chris Morgan, the man is a legend!

Who will be our top scorer? : Gotta be Ched Evans hasn't it? He has the abillity to score loads in this division.

One to watch? : Brian Howard, despite the stick he gets, I think he will improve a great deal and have a productive season.

Signing most looking foraward to seeing? : Kyel Reid, hopefully he can be the man to solve our left-wing problems.

What do you think about the boss? : Kevin has proved he can get us up there so why can't he again?

What are your hopes for the season? : Promotion. Don't care how we do it really, just as long as we do!

How confident are you of achieving that? : I'm 50/50 really.

Where do you think we will finish? : 5th or 6th this year. I fear scoring goals my be our pitfall.

Who will be our biggest rivals? : In promotion terms, Ipswich, West Brom & i still think Reading.

Fixture most looking forward to? : The local debys for me.

Who will be our most important player? : Killa.

Your terrace hero? : Id probably say Morgan too. You always know what you're going to get with him.

Who will be our top scorer? : Evans most likely

One to watch? : Not entirely sure who to put. You could say any one of the youngsters that have played pre-season i suppose.

Signing most looking foraward to seeing? : Evans

What do you think about the boss? : Still not 100% on him. I think he lacks the motivational skills that we need.

Hopes for the season? A bit of excitement, a few decent beers and a few goals
Confidence of achieving? More confident about the beer than the excitement
Where we'll finish? I said 4th in the survey. Play-offs i suppose
Biggest rivals? West Brom, Derby and Leicester
Fixture most looking forward to? The Snortbeasts
Most important player? Kyle Walker
Your terrace hero? Morgs - the man is immense
Top scorer? Chedwyn
One to watch? Bunny
Signing most looking forward to seeing? Gotta be Ched again
What do you think of the boss? Having seen his Bladesworld interviews, i reckon he's been eating pies with our Turry. Look at those chins!!

What are your hopes for the season? : As with every season in this league, promotion simply. But if we don’t finish top 6 I won’t necessarily think it’s the managers fault.

How confident are you of achieving that? : 7/10.

Where do you think we will finish? : 4th – 8th.

Who will be our biggest rivals? : Boro. I expect Derby & Leicester to do very well too. I don’t see WBA, Newcastle, Cardiff, Reading really doing a great deal.

Fixture most looking forward to? : Tonight!

Who will be our most important player? : Al the midfield, if they perform we’ll turn draws into wins.

Your terrace hero? : Monty, took so much shit down the years and never even slightly gone missing.

Who will be our top scorer? : Evans.

One to watch? : Interesting to see how Taylor develops, we tend to do quite well signing young players from the lower divisions.

Signing most looking foraward to seeing? : Evans

What do you think about the boss? : Brought in to do an exceptionally difficult task and solve the problems Robson created. Question his ability to manage difficult/maverick players, and behaviour in the media. Other than that he’s doing a great job.

What are your hopes for the season? : That we play good football and win a lot more than we lose

How confident are you of achieving that? : 7/10 for good football, 9/10 for winning more than we lose

Where do you think we will finish? : Playoff's

Who will be our biggest rivals? : Ipswich & pos West Brom, they have been too quiet in preseason

Fixture most looking forward to? : The local debys for me.

Who will be our most important player? : Monty, protects the defense and breaks up attacks (I don't care what people say about his passing he does his job 100% and he does it very well)

Your terrace hero? : Monty!

Who will be our top scorer? : Jamie Ward fast as and his finishing is excellent when he has luck and the ball stops hitting the woodwork

One to watch? : Taylor, I don't think Naysmith will get his place back easy when he is fit

Signing most looking foraward to seeing? : Reid, dn't know much about him but have heard he's fast as!

What do you think about the boss? : Good manager who takes a lot of stick in his stride.

Hopes for the season - Promotion would be nice, and play-offs a minimum

Confidence - 9/10 for a top 6, 4/10 for promotion

Where do I think we'll finish - I said 2nd on the poll, so I'll stick with that. We should be top 6 for sure

Biggest rivals - West Brom, Cardiff & Forest

Fixture most looking forward to - Pigs, Dingles, Leicester, Forest, Derby

Most important player - Whoever plays in goal until Paddy gets back (if he does)

Hero - Morgs - it's a man's game after all...

Top Scorer - Ched - he's got £3mill to live up to

One to Watch - Ward - I think he's the perfect foil to a bigger striker, and if he gets a couple early season, well who knows

Signing most looking forward to seeing - Ched

What do I think of the boss - This is make or break time - I'm not sure if he can change a game with tactics/subs in a way that will pick up the handful of points that will make the difference

Fixture most looking forward to? : Newcastle at home and Barnsley at home

Who will be our most important player? : Killa

Your terrace hero? : Morgans- no nonsense

Who will be our top scorer? : Got to be Ched Evans

One to watch? : Henderson- if kept fit, could be useful.

Signing most looking foraward to seeing? : Kyel Reid, finally a player on the left who could run at the opposition

What do you think about the boss? Good question... erm big improvement on Robson, however still unsure if he can get the players to rise to the big occasion.
