Keeper has to be disappointed with there second today. Definitely a mistake IMO. Next is his distribution, which is nearly on par with Brayford's. Both woeful in recent weeks

We were half way up the away stand and to the right of our goal, so was right behind the Poleon shot.

It just sat up nicely and he hit it as sweetly as anyone could.

He hit it early as OP said, but Howard had a full view of it.

What happened, is that it moved to Howards left very slightly just before it got to him and therefore went past his hand.

Think Howard will be disappointed, but the ball defo moved in the air.

UTB

I once hit a shot that me and the keeper would both swear blind went dead straight, wobbled round his hand, then carried on its previous course and into the net. He got some right grief but we had a chat about it at the end of the game. Neither of us could believe it.
Keeper (amazed): "That swerved round my hand."
WHF (amazed): "I know."

No way could I keep a straight face and pretend I'd done it on purpose

I have since failed to recreate this magic.

Anyway back on topic if the balls are wobbling we have to stop them shooting...:)

I reckon he is still struggling with his back ,he certainly looks uncomfortable when kicking. If we win on Tuesday I reckon Turner will be in up to the play offs.
He nearly gifted them a goal very early in the game when his half hearted clearance was blocked by an Oldham player running towards him, thankfully the ball rolled out of play for a goal kick. It was an early sign that it wasnt going to be his day today

we back off way too much. It's a tricky balance between jumping in and backing off, and I'm guessing they're under orders not to jump in as they've made countless errors doing so this season.

He didn't have time to set himself for the second, he probably expected one of the 3 midfielders around Poleon to put a proper tackle in.

I was a little disappointed he didn't make more of an effort with the first, it was a decent finish but all he did was go down onto one knee rather than diving for it.

I think Howard should have done better with the goals v Crewe (winner) and the second yesterday. Both hit hard bit but were middle of goal and savable.

They have seemed to go through him.

He certainly is struggling on long range shots although had no chance with 2 Donny ones.

Maybe Howard needs contact lenses or certainly needs to work on his concentration levels; he moves very late to cover long shots, so late you wonder whether he is ever contemplating the possibility of a long shot.
