Even Billy can't save this shite team, in fact I wouldn think Messi and Iniesta could.....

Alcock dropped a bollock at the end when he got lost in no man's land, but he was certainly solid for the most part.

Reed improved in the second, and Jose was excellent. In fact, Collins wasn't particularly poor and Edgar was the worst of the defence.

Woolford, JCR, McNulty and McEveley were utterly awful.

Just when we thought Edgar had improved the defence :(

well ,,, when Adkins picks the side that gets us back from 2-0 down , from the start we will start winning
shows we shouldnt try and defend , we are far far better going forward
JCR was very poor today offered no outlet and sharp and sammon still looks best option

Billy has been playing at a higher level than L1 for the last 8 seasons and the majority of his goals are Championship goals.

I think he's done really well so far. Ok he'll miss a few but his goals will win us many points this season as will his support play and assists.

Also, his movement. He's running the channels well and always offers himself

OP a little harsh on some of the others but agree with the Billy Sharp sentiment. We would be up shit creek without him.

Thinking about making Billy captain would be a positive move for both him and team IMO. When he gets a goal you can see what it means to him and his expression of relief to the fans speaks volumes. After previous spells at the Lane before our Billy is more determined than ever to repay the club in the only way how.

As fans, I think really getting behind him during games will help him more and mire to score goals like he did today at Bradford. Great ball from Baxter was taken down beautifully by Billy for a superb strikers finish.

More from Billy? .... Yes please.

I can't believe how wrong I was, I wasn't bothered about him coming back at all and well now I love him so.

I've watched Sharp's goal a few times, must go down as candidate for goal of the season. The pass from Baxter, well within his own half, the vision to spot Sharp's run and put it on a sixpence, then Sharp's control on his chest, first shot was on target but saved by the keeper, then the rebound fell perfectly for Sharp to put the ball in the onion bag. Quality all round, and all in the space of a few seconds, magnificent at any level. Makes you wonder why there's so much for and against Baxter when you watch that pass, but maybe he should reflect on why he doesn't do much, much more to influence games. On that showing he was a midfield general, dare I say that pass was TC class?
