Wilder has changed their managers first name from Danny, to Sausage.
I (and many other Sheffielders) use the term sausage as an endearment to someone I love, particularly to another male ie I call my grandson sausage all the time as I did with both my sons. Shirley it’s piggy’s that are being culturally racist for stereo typing Sheffield colloquialisms.

I was not happy with Wilders behaviour, don’t like any role model displaying drunken behaviour that show club, company you work for in a bad light. Ditto when he nearly dropped the cup off the bus. However, I would defend him to the last man on this, it was a bit of fun in private that a fellow blade made public (wouldn’t have happened pre social media). With what Wilder has had to listen to re songs about his daughter I think he has contained the hate shown to his family admirably.

Don’t piggy’s realise they have immortalised the sausage roll to Blades fans and they will never feel the same way about this culinary delight ever again without remembering their 1-0 thrashing by our Accadamy and free signings?

Note, no one dare put the pork pie at risk of being weaponised

OK, lets get this straight. I am:

a) a Belgian national born and bred in Belgium, though I've lived in Sheffield for the best part of two decades,

and

b) pretty, pretty woke: I make a special trip to Waitrose to recycle the Tetra Paks from my barista oat milk, I eat the vegan pie at the Lane (it's still vile), I voluntarily pay for a f*cking subscription to Mundial magazine.

I think the above two points qualify me to comment first-hand on whether calling a German 'sausage roll' is racist or otherwise even mildly offensive, and here's the deal:

it's just not, is it.

In fact, the only potentially 'racist' thing about this is the sorry state of affairs that some people's knowledge of Germans and German culture doesn't stretch beyond the single stereotype of 'but they do sausages, don't they' 🤷‍♂️
Think you're being a bit unfair here. Their fanbase is renowned for their cultural knowledge and sensitivity.

Alan Harper, Pittsmoor Pig, Joe Crann……
They all sing their own anthem anyway.

“Woke on,
Woke on,
With hate in our hearts,
And we always woke alone,

Woke on”

They’ve well and truly lost their heads about this, and the Derby match in general.

I’ve had one pudding at work try and tell me they deserved the draw as they had more shots off target than we did. I’ve tried to explain the normative metric to decide who wins and loses football matches is the number of goals scored.

I’ve had another one tell me they’ll be a different team once they’ve gelled and they get us at Hillsborough in March, and they’ll be wanting revenge for all this

Personally I don’t see the harm in what Wilder has done. We’ve got a rivalry with that lot from across the city. It’s edgy, it’s unrefined and it’s not for the feint hearted. Wilders got one over them and he is lording it. Can’t fault him at all. If it was the other way we would just have to take it.
Once they’ve gelled? It’s fucking November.

I thought teams gelled with a decent pre-season? Although getting bitch slapped doesn’t do much for the gelling process I’d imagine…

What with our ageing squad having had the last 3 seasons to gell? 😂

Gosh!!!!, fella, on right, his mother HAS cut his hair. Very liberal woman, especially whilst wielding a set of hair clippers, also clippered kid on left, in passing, no doubt.
Exemptions, military personnel, had a couple of them 'mi'sen'.
Avoidance secret is, don't go to station barber.

3 days on and they are still banging on about sausaggate on social media......yet whenever a Blade comments they claim they are just "fishing" and we are gullible for falling for it...

He could be to sausage rolls what Lineker is to crisps.

Stop giving Chanser good ideas for revenue streams.

Next season Wednesdays shirt sponsor will be Greggs.

Also almost every Blade I know, don’t mind Rohl and think he’s doing a really good job with the average players he has.

If anyone has visited Sandygate lately, they will have seen that a ‘Sausage Rohl’ is available from the food kiosk.

That would be Hallam FC whose chairman is a Wednesday fan.

I hope the Owls Racist Savouries Enforcement Squad are going to take one of their own to task over this matter.

If they want to have a go at Wilder for being a bit of a nob - that’s probably fair enough, but anything else is just ludicrous, and very very funny.

Their allowed to though as the self appointed 'classy' club of the city.

Even though events of recent months have shown their 'class' to be massively stained.

It's easy for us to give credit to Rohl - he's just no threat - instead of finishing 20th under an average manager he'll use his magic to raise them to finish 15th, before being poached by a bigger club like Coventry.

Am i missing something?
British get called Poms and Limeys. Is that classed as a racial slur?
Would there be all this fuss if Wilder was called a Yorkshire pudding?
Seriously I would like to understand why the fuss?

Think you could be right. I don't mind SWFC these days but that's because I no longer see them as any kind of threat.
I'm very much a proud Sheffielder, so part of me wants both to do well, as long as United are better.

Regards Rohl, he might decide it's best to get out of SWFC and join a club with a more opportunity/ prospects.
When you think the 2 best players at SWFC are Charles and Bannon.

Charles is a loanee and doubt will be available or affordable to buy
and Bannon is 35 years old in a few weeks, so he's probably on the decline and got 1 more season in him.
Another issue is that unlike us, SWFC don't have many Academy players coming through....so their future doesn't look too good.

Really? Not for me, personally think he’s a bang average coach who plays poor football. All well and good saying he is doing a good job with average players but what about the clubs above them with average players who are doing better surely all their managers are better than rohl? He’s 3 points from a relegation spot, sitting above the likes of Oxford and Plymouth by 1 and 2 points respectively, both spent less and have a far more average team, you would have to say their managers are doing a better job than Rohl. If this was Lee Bullen in charge we would all be saying how poorly he is doing but they have a fashionable manager from Europe so somehow it buys him a few extra brownie points as opposed to if it was Bullen.

Just my opinion that’s all but I do think he will get sacked or resign before the season is out.

Yes, in short they're shite (and unlike you I'd prefer then to be even worse) and I think Rohl will soon consider his reputation is no longer being enhanced, after dining out on a good job last season.

The shine will soon start to dull with the fanbase too, and he won't put up with that.

I do wonder how much of this Rohl love from them (and some of our fans), is actually based in reality. They're 3 points outside the relegation zone. Not massive, but respectable enough wage bill. There's undoubtedly managers with lower wage bills performing better than him. It's becoming a bit cult-like.

I can imagine these pigs having to clutch their pearls at every pun in the family outing to the Christmas panto if Sausage Rohl is so offensive
