Don't worry, I just googled " is there a correct technique to swing a pig" and have been provided with the following advice.

Yes, there are correct techniques for handling and moving pigs, including:
  • Lifting piglets
When lifting a piglet, use one hand to support its chest and the other to lift it by a back leg. Avoid swinging or snatching the piglet. When lowering the piglet, ensure both front legs touch the ground before lowering the back legs.

  • Turning a show pig
To turn a show pig, move your whip up to the side of its face, closer to its eye. Your body and whip should be on the same side.

  • Teaching a show pig to walk with its head up
Use two whips or have the pig up against a fence. Use the whips right under the pig's nose.

  • The Move the Pig Technique (MTP)
Break the exercise into small steps, use clear signals, and give immediate responses. Start in a calm environment, don't use physical force, and release pressure when the pig moves.

  • Steer a show pig
To turn right, hit the pig on the left side of its face. To turn left, hit the pig on the right side of its face while also hitting its flank to increase speed.

  • Proper animal handling is important for the health and welfare of the pig.

important we get this right so we don't upset anyone.
Ah yes "turning a show pig", I remember that one well

They are now suggesting that they show their players the video of Wilder singing the Sausage Rohl song before the return game at the Sty. This will apparantly get them in the right frame of mind to 'get at us'.

Imagine a stern-faced Danny Rohl playing the video then saying to the players 'This is not funny. There is nothing funny about sausages. Now go out there and get your revenge'.

Personally I think it might backfire, and the players might piss themselves laughing.

IIRC we had non-alcoholic 'champagne' to spray about celebrating the ill-fated promotion in 2022/23. Whenever it was cause to use the real stuff you could see Ndiaye move to the side to not get touched by it...and more importantly his teammates made absolutely sure they didn't spray him.
Bloody woke nonsense 🤪

It's funny as fuck it's got to this, I thought it was a bit childish at first, but the more it goes on the funnier it gets. Kinda dispels the original line they were spouting about them not being bothered cos on paper we should have won by more, they're taking it really badly and I love to see it.

OK, lets get this straight. I am:

a) a Belgian national born and bred in Belgium, though I've lived in Sheffield for the best part of two decades,

and

b) pretty, pretty woke: I make a special trip to Waitrose to recycle the Tetra Paks from my barista oat milk, I eat the vegan pie at the Lane (it's still vile), I voluntarily pay for a f*cking subscription to Mundial magazine.

I think the above two points qualify me to comment first-hand on whether calling a German 'sausage roll' is racist or otherwise even mildly offensive, and here's the deal:

it's just not, is it.

In fact, the only potentially 'racist' thing about this is the sorry state of affairs that some people's knowledge of Germans and German culture doesn't stretch beyond the single stereotype of 'but they do sausages, don't they' 🤷‍♂️

Fixed it for you.
Wilder has changed their managers first name from Danny, to Sausage.
Bannan made a sweeping comment describing the entire United fanbase as "fucking wankers".

All a bit pathetic really isn't it
Din't know Bannan had called me a "F--fing wanker"
Wait till I see 'im, I'll get down on mi knees and spit in his eye.

They’ve well and truly lost their heads about this, and the Derby match in general.

I’ve had one pudding at work try and tell me they deserved the draw as they had more shots off target than we did. I’ve tried to explain the normative metric to decide who wins and loses football matches is the number of goals scored.

I’ve had another one tell me they’ll be a different team once they’ve gelled and they get us at Hillsborough in March, and they’ll be wanting revenge for all this

Personally I don’t see the harm in what Wilder has done. We’ve got a rivalry with that lot from across the city. It’s edgy, it’s unrefined and it’s not for the feint hearted. Wilders got one over them and he is lording it. Can’t fault him at all. If it was the other way we would just have to take it.

This.

The stereotypes we give Germans are way off the mark anyway.

All that Wendy fan has done is reinforce his own ignorance of Germany as a country.

I believe Rohl is East German in origin, so I’d be amazed if he hasn’t made a joke about the lederhosen wearing Bavarians, or the prim and proper Swabians.

It’s a very complex country, and the fact that the Wednesday fans are bringing it down to sausages speaks volumes of them.

For the record, I quite like Rohl, and I think he’ll do well for them.

I prefer Steak Bakes anyway.

Once they've gelled? Weren't most of their players there last season? Makes no sense that they would need time to gel.

A statement made even more absurd by the fact that our starting XI on Sunday had SEVEN players who we signed in the summer, plus a couple more on the bench.

Perhaps they could all go off and spend time together making pasties as a team bonding exercise
