Average side ?

They have, I think, the 3rd or 4th best home record in the division and are unbeaten this season. They've been excellent at their place since they came up and add to that a less than impressive record for us down there and I for one will be happy with a hard fought point on Saturday.

This is obviously another one of your 'anti Blackwell' posts but how about thinking about the possibility of us improving with players returning rather than wondering what the manager will say if we perform poorly ?

Leave it out Fleets, if we don't win we're all going to start agreeing with Pinders. Simples.

Again, if Swiss and Come from Away, Boo, Sheepdip or any of my detractors wish to debate in person I would be only too pleased to stand my round:thumbup:

See Olle, Fiery's not cheap. If I dip into my pension money how about we split a half-pint? Sorry am just not on here for long enough to run/get involved in an ongoing debate - just have time to throw the odd rock.

Even with players back not a lot of hope for Saturday, always go for a win but a draw would not be bad.

Exactly a position that needs to be improved upon starting with nothing less than 3 points saturday.

and don't you think Bristol will be wanting to be improving on their 10th placed position as well or are you really that blinkered that you think we have a devine right to be top of the league whereas little teams should bow to our status and the amount of clubs and gyms we own?

Fiery/ Ollesandro, Sorry for not responding to your posts, had a busy few days, so only had chance to have a quick read, but i've been amused and I see others have fought for the positive cause.

If the new keeper comes in on Sat we may get a bit of a confidence boost at the back, but I think he'll stick with 'Penalty hero' Bunn.

Its a shame Camara's out, but I think that Blackie may opt wisely for a 4-5-1 and maybe leave Ched out. Nothing against Ched, but I think caution may be the best option as this formation served us well last year away from home. Then we can see how things go... But what do I know!

Oh and Ollesandro stop being a tight git, it looks like you're the only one thats not prepared to get your hands in your pocket and buy a round! :)

Alright, alright I'll bow to pressure and buy a round.

Shame Camera is out. But I'd go for

----------- Bunn

Walker Morgs Bone crusher Killa
-----------Monty
-------Harper Williamson
Ward --------------------- Treacy
-------- Henderson

ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz, snore.

Of course we shouldn't be expecting to beat teams like Bristol. No way. Just because we should be pushing for promtion and have a better team doesn't mean we should beat them!? Oh no. Chris Morgan, Mat Kilgallon, James Harper, Darius Henderson and Stephen Quinn in the team. All players with substantial premiership expereince in the team. Jamie Ward on fire, England U-21 Kyle walkler, Welsh International Ched Evans, Senegal international Ched Evans. Why on earth should our better squad of players be expected to get a result at bristol. Santos, you are spot on. We have no right to be expecting to win any games. If we have a better fan base, are a bigger club, have better players, have a higher wage bill it does not matter. We should not expect a result against the Mighty Bristol. Oh no, no, no.

I'll be clapping if we don't concede more than 3 on Saturday!?

People complain that I put people down and belittle peoples opinion. But what is to be expected when people type garbage like that?

Enjoy your day out Ollie. Don't worry about Blackwell or the rubbish served up. We're entering an era where away wins will be very, very rare and you aint going to see one tomorrow so just enjoy it for what it is - a day out with the lads.

Bristol a little team? there 10th you know.

No we don't have a divine right and i never said that we did. I just think teams like Bristol, who to me are an average team, who didn't finish in the playoffs like we did last season are teams we SHOULD be beating if we are seriously looking to get in the playoffs.

you mean Bristol who reached the play off final the season before us, and have a manager who you've all been fighting to post on that other thread about how well he knows football, how he soothes your soul with his dulcet tones and he knows the the ins and outs of sheffield united?
