There’s no one more bitter than me, Seth.Ruin it? What to lose PL money and risk the chance of losing his investment. altogether
I’m beginning to wonder if you’re an embittered ex employee.

Is that because you think the squad is strong enough to survive in the PL without any additional players - or you don't think the embargo can be applied to a Pl club?If they both stay then I don’t give a flying about the embargo
His intention is not to invest but to asset strip.
Despite our best efforts to get ridI think berge might stay
It's not haters this time, Andy. You've put yourself forward as someone who knows bits and pieces about what's going on at the club--and a good deal of what you said in the first go around seems to have been true. But now you're implying the owner is deliberately trying to sabotage the club's promotion bid. People are entitled to know whether that's coming from information you have from inside the club or whether it's just your interpretation.
Not sure I follow that, to be honest. Andy is implying (or was--he's now backtracking) that the owner is attempting to sabotage promotion--that he is selling Berge and whoever else he can shift because he doesn't want us to go up. Your scenario seems to be about the owner trying to sabotage the sale of the club.Maybe a desperate Prince agreed a price for the take over afew months ago but we are now worth much more given the position we are in going into February.
During the grey area of who pays for what the Prince plays hardball knowing that if it falls through the other buyers apparently waiting in the wings will step in and do a deal for potentially tens of millions more as an almost nailed on promoted club.
There is clearly scenario in which the Prince could hugely benefit from it falling through. Selling Berge for a couple of good loans could be a gamble worth taking for him

I got the impression that what Andy is saying is that if clubs meet our valuation for players they will be sold. Our league position is not being taken into consideration. Not sure I follow that, to be honest. In both cases, the simplest answer as to why we're trying to sell Berge is that we need the money. No sabotaging of promotion, no complicated attempts to scupper the takeover, just a simple lack of money to cover the running costs of the club.
You don't understand the embargo rules then.If they both stay then I don’t give a flying about the embargo
Why are you baiting himWhy though?
Yeah, that's definitely what he's saying. But it raises more questions than it answers. Why would we be doing that, if indeed we are?I got the impression that what Andy is saying is that if clubs meet our valuation for players they will be sold. Our league position is not being taken into consideration.
The embargo that will prevent us buying anyone for the Premier league and will likely see us challenging derbys record?
If we don’t have money or new owner next season then next year you will be closer to Derby record than staying up with this current squad bar illy and BergeThe embargo that will prevent us buying anyone for the Premier league and will likely see us challenging derbys record?
Dont most clubs sell players if valuations are met?Yeah, that's definitely what he's saying. But it raises more questions than it answers. Why would we be doing that, if indeed we are?
You're right, but I think it's fair to ask why we're selling one of our best players* when we're so close to promotion. I'm just not sold on the explanation that it's because the prince is either trying to scupper promotion or fill his pockets on the way out the door.Dont most clubs sell players if valuations are met?
Simply because hes one of the only players we could seel easily and get value fromYou're right, but I think it's fair to ask why we're selling one of our best players* when we're so close to promotion. I agree, that seems like the likeliest explanation.Simply because hes one of the only players we could seel easily and get value from
Who else is going to bring a few mill in?
This is getting reyt wank.
As for prince scuppered promotion or lining his pockets, that's straight out of andys conspiracy book*.I agree, that seems like the likeliest explanation.
As you say it’s hardly ground breaking news, especially when both are nearing the end of their contracts. Ideally hang on but circumstances seem to dictate otherwise.Dont most clubs sell players if valuations are met?
Right, that's exactly the point I've been makingAs for prince scuppered promotion or lining his pockets, that's straight out of andys conspiracy book*.
*Available in all pound stores

I agree. Not saying it's true.Which makes no financial sense at all.
Because he loves nights out in Blackpool. What I dont get is why would the Prince try and deliberately derail our promotion to the PL ?
The prince would not be selling off the company assets in isolation, it will have been agreed with the new buyer the criteria within which the “company“ has to work. What I dont get is why would the Prince try and deliberately derail our promotion to the PL ?
His investment (SUFC) would be worth considerably less if the potential takeover does not come to fruition
If there is a new owner waiting for EFL approval he would certainly not take kindly to PA selling off the Family Silver. It just doesnt make sense
If there isnt a new owner in the offing PA would stand a better chance of selling the club at a later date as a PL club for more money if we dont reach the PL then there would obviously be a fire sale
