Want to put your money where your mouth is Andy?

If N'Diaye is sold this January transfer window with no equivalent replacement then I'll donate £50 to charity.
If he's still here or we sell and bring in high profile replacements then you donate £50 to charity.
Can lower it to £20 if you want.

Why?

I said if a big enough bid comes in he’d sell regardless of our position.

I saw him in the car park loading the back of his yellow Reliant Regal with duffle bags of cash.
Heard from a very reliable source who is an expert on International Grass Relations, that the reason we are not using the new pitch at Shirecliffe is because the Prince has been nicking and selling all the grass.

Sorry, I agree, but that applies to most players at most clubs. We're no different.
I suppose the issue would be more about who we bring in as replacements and to strengthen other areas.
At short notice then it's not ideal and we would probably be weakened, which makes no sense if we have promotion in our sights.

Apparently he couldnt sell half of it because Ciaran Clark was on it for so long it's wrecked.

Hecky's in on it too you know. Every time he mentioned about a player being "on the grass" that wasn't about football. He just meant they were being used by the Prince to harvest the goods and ship it out.

Not sure it does to clubs in our position but we’ll agree to differ.

All reports are saying Hecky “wants” to bring 2 in, not he’s been given the green light. Andy67 (I’ll give him credit for a few good calls) sounds fecked off as if he’s lost a tenner a found two bob.

Im getting the feeling that we will be left looking at a blank screen like we usually do on transfer night and Hecky can say he tried but…..

Starting to sound like poor gaffer is covering his butt before the shit storm hits.

Said at the start of the season, only one teams stops the Blades going up this season, and that Sheffield United themselves.....

Berge will be sold (chest infection my arse) with minutes to go in the JTW, leaving us with no chance of a replacement.

Doyle and Mcatee are not as good as Berge so not his replacement (combine together and get somewhere close)

We will finish the season in 3rd, and you know how that ends up.............
Glad you wrote that and not me, or they'd have been queuing up outside my house with the pitchforks and burning crosses

Our players are being touted around and the fans gullibly accept that it is for the best. Biggest load of shit ever the Prince just wants the cash. The mistaken assumption that he needs to buy us out of embargo like a knight in shining armour is bonkers. This man is not in the least bothered about signing he is interested in selling!

Wants the cash from transfers? How will he get that out of the club?

If we sell Sander for £20m, receiving a large chunk of it up front, and use that money to sort out the umbongo shit and pay the bills until such time as we are taken over or go up (whichever comes first!), and then we also get Lewis O'Brien on loan til the end of the season with an obligation to buy for £10m if we go up - how many on here would consider that good business?

Extremely good business, of course.

Just a question on this that intrigues me. Maybe one for Champagneblade - in Europe alot of clubs have reserve sides that play in the lower leagues. In yesterdays (totally awful) game between Schalke and Koln, Schalke had a player in their side making his second start who spent the first part of the season playing in their reservce side in the Regional League IV. They actually picked him up from a local side who play in Regional League V. I think they said it was in July so before the season started. But if he had played a game in the League in August, and then transferred to the reserve side, would he have still been allowed to play in the first team this season?
There are 4 B teams in the Belgium League - SL16 (Standard Liege), Club NXT (Club Brugge), RCSA (Anderlecht) and Jong Gent (Gent).

I couldn't find any that had transfered between the partent club and B team and then transferred elsewhere.

I don't think it happens as I seen to recall Barça need to register who is a B player and who plays for FCB. Once done, that's it as far as I can tell.

I may be wrong but the integrity of the competition has to be protected for all the other clubs.

Yes, I thought that on the face of it.
But what effect would it have on the dressing room?
A popular figure is effectively forced out, replaced by someone who would be one of the top earners surely, at a time when we aren't even renewing the contracts of players already with us.
Tricky one I think.

I would for starters. I love Sander, most do. But if we get promoted, in my view, Sander isn't suited to a relegation scrap. We need players who can be giving 100% every match, maybe Sander is giving 100% but we can't afford to carry him next season for his 2/3 quieter games or the games where he may do one moment of quality but for the rest of the match is coasting. I can't see the moments of quality been as frequent in the PL. O'Brien is far more suited to what we need, an all rounder and someone who will be capable of making a tackle, running the full length of the pitch to make a last ditch tackle and then been able to supply a cross at the other end for a goal, that's what we need. If we got promoted I would have thought it best to offload Sander anyway as he'll only have a year to go on his contract and as I said I don't think he'll be what we need in a relegation scrap which is almost certain next season if we go up. I really rate O'Brien also and he would be a terrific signing and someone who the fans will really appreciate I think.

Sander will probably do well for a team that has plenty of the ball and has the quality to be able to afford Sander's style of play so to speak. I don't believe we will be able to afford it if that makes sense.

New owner will offer contracts. Players will be happy to get a good player in midfield, I'd imagine.

And I'm not having a dig at Sander!

IF any of this happens!

Berge is rated as a better player than O'Brien and if we manage to go up we go up potentially weaker.
Still makes no sense how the club has got itself into the position of a transfer embargo when in such a strong position if we needed to borrow a few quid.

Weeeerrrzz medical news? Needs to be today for us to spend spend spend tomorrow.

How does the Prince extract this money from the club?
Wouldn't that depend on the takeover? I believe assets are frozen when the deposit changes hands. If the takeover if off it will go to the same bank account we use for everything else player wise, you'd assume? I suspect the club owes the Prince money in the form of loans
