I think that lays down a mark er we must have invested half a million in this kid Wilder has obviously planned this he will sure keep our present midfield on there toes looks like a great aigning

Sir.....I love ❤️ you!!

That has made my day, my week and a fantastic start to my year.

Just so you know, I cannot abide that smarmy scouse twat! And seeing him squirm and stammer like that is simply immense.
Thank you.

I'd go much farther Grizzly blade, it's completely MASSIVE! Robinson will have known that the question from the journo was already redundant, so having to answer will have irked him no end.....well done Wilder!

By the way, we should all thank the board as well, for backing Chris Wilder.

Although I just heard a rumour that we are selling the Desso pitch to pay for this.

Which one? We've paid for one for each of the last three seasons.........

Don't agree mate, I think his body language and face tell a different story, he already knew he had been knocked back and the lad was bound for BDTBL at that point.
Yeah I see what you mean mate. It's hard to tell with that smarmy smirk, but I'm surprised that he bigged him up as one of the best in the league if he knew that he'd lost him. He never came across as the gracious type to me, especially when we were involved.

Samir Carruthers sounds good time will tell as like majority of this squad when they signed (everyone but moore fleck basham sharp & clarke) i knew very little about him apart from being banned from Cheltenham racecourse for literally pissing about, but that is thing with being in league 1 we cant afford reputations

McNulty getting pelters on another thread for being a pisscan, sucking a lollipop and wearing a jumper round his shoulders. We sign this Carruthers bloke and everyone's celebrating - I can't be the only one on the forum who thinks tipping a pint pot of piss off a balcony onto unsuspecting folk below is a bit of a cunt's trick.

Compare and contrast....
A) he didn't empty the pint pot, he was looking on
B) there was no one below. It was an empty grassed area

Not suggesting he's an innocent. But I thought his comprehensive and abject apology, together with his reference to the fact that he hadn't been brought up to behave like this, was rather disarming. Behaved badly and he knew it, and was sorry. Not suggesting he's not without attitude problems, but I think the manager would be good for him.
I never criticised McNulty either though.

I will. He's shite. Not interested in his off-field activities, rather his inability to control a football or get involved in a game.

I couldn't give a flying feck so long as he puts in a shift when Tufty sends him on to the pitch.

He could suffocate puppies in his spare time for me, so long as he excels in the job of work my ticket money pays for.
What kind of puppies though ?

To that I'd say...

1. Carruthers is a much better player than McNulty.

2. Numerous managers haven't liked McNulty whereas Carruthers has been a constant throughout a good period for MK Dons.

3. Wilder's signed Carruthers. He wouldn't sign him if he was a problem character. Certainly when things are going so well.
Do you think he will play alongside Coutts, fleck and Duffy or is one of them likely to drop to the bench, assuming he will be soon starting in the first eleven

Anyone know any good jokes about fax machines or sofas in Belgium?...
Not me I'm afraid. I'm still getting mileage out of Higdon / Pie quips and will be doing so for at least another 18 months.

From what i've seen of Samir, he is only good decision making away from playing in the Premir league, that seems to be the only thing that's held him back from the games i've seen him play which is around the double figure mark, he's at the right age still though where a manager like CW can help him and guide him to make better decisions and this could yet prove to be our best signing and there have been some good ones.

He can play out wide, through the middle and is a very tricky all round Midfielder. He will add more goals to his game playing for us, that I have no doubt, his touch is very good, gets stuck in and has the drive to succeed, what is there not to like?
