To be fair, Bromby hasn't gone yet and presumably we've got a replacement lined up if he does. Makes sense to me. Depends if we can hang onto Killa, just hope no one puts a good offer in but I suspect Martinez will.

Overall though I'm happy with KB's signings this season so far, think he's done a good job and our record start is testament to that.

Excellent, first time I've seen that old chesnut since I signed up on here.

Must admit I hate the transfer window. I can't think of one (and I know we've not been involved in that many) where it's closed with me thinking "My God, we've really made a step forward with those dealings".

If Darren can go all Darren here, I think our record start was in 1899-1900 when we went 22 unbeaten from the start of the season and didn't lose until January.

Do you have any particular point you'd like to elaborate on with regards to your opinion?

Or are you happy just applying a label to people which negates the need to make any point?

You might not have read what we say when you signed up, but it does state that we encourage reasoned debate around here. If your whole argument can be summed up by referring to someone as a "clapper", I would suggest that this perhaps isn't the forum for you

because I don't moan constantly doesn't make me a clapper, I have my own views and don't sit in clappers or knockers camps, my problem with Beighton is his CONSTANT moaning, all of it ill informed, repetitive and boring, never once mentioned being a bigger blade, that has nowt to do with it.
I can see lots of problems at the lane and have talked about them on here, but I can also see we are unbeaten at present and maybe just maybe blackie has plans to bring players in too, I don't know and neither does beighton but it doesn't stop his moaning, I have to question anyone who are completely and utterly negative about the club they are supposed to support. maybe some of you equate moaning to support, personally I think you should be constructive with criticism not fall into cliches like cheap as chips and clappers
but hey thats your perogative

You may not like his opinion but "know nothing", "beighton rubbish" and "without ANY knowledge" are in no way a cohesive argument against it.

well grecian you maybe unaware that beighton has a long long record of these types of posts, I would not sensor anyone for having the odd moan or groan its just those who constantly and relentlessly do so, I can see without the history of this you may assume I was just slagging beighton off, but I have attempted to have constructive discussions before without luck.

BB is who he is, I like him no matter what his opinion is. He has never tried to sway anyone with his point of view, nor has he ever made me feel mine is stupid. He will debate with anyone, but I have never seen him go all in and slag someone off who hasn;t attacked him first.

Most of us on the forum don't always agree, but we debate and get our own views across....Hence this being the best damn United forum on the net (just my opinion)

Its unlikely that we are going to be buying anyone else in the transfer window, in my view, so it will come down to phoning round the PL boys for a couple of players next week. We can still take loan players for a few weeks yet...
