Surely there's the small case of the player giving his signature before it's a done deal? I'd be mightily surprised if Wilder wasn't on this in an attempt to scupper any attempts at Morsy moving anywhere else but here?

I'm just worried Scunny could've offered more than they need to and established a minimum price for Wigan which we won't be willing to match.

only according to some of the 'ITK' on here. CW and his team are very tight lipped about targets and doesn't want anything getting out from our end. Nothing he can do about other clubs thou.CW has never said we have but in a bid for him

I wasn't overly enthusiastic about him to start with but to miss out to Scunthorpe would be pretty embarrassing.

Having said that if it's because Wilder is preferring to go for a taller, more physically dominant type then I wouldn't blame him at all, we really need that type of player.
