I admit I was delighted when we signed him, like 99% of Blades. But the bullshit flowed thick and fast and it was really obvious within a few weeks that he was a complete clown.

Don't think you have a monopoly on being able to spot a bullshitter mate, we all saw it but to be fair we were warned to expect that by Scunny and Saints fans - he did the same there but was still successful on the field so I don't buy that.

I think the main problem was he inherited a worse squad than certainly he did at Southampton. And crucially a squad that had some trouble makers in it who were pissed off that Cloughy had gone and he wasn't able to deal with that, and he should have been able to. So not a clown IMO but his limitations were found out.

More think Reading . We move on.

I agree that Adkins seemed like a bullshitting fraud from an early stage (McEveley captain?). With hindsight, it was obvious he was a complete clown and would fail. But at the time although you had those suspicions they were overruled by the thought 'well he's been there and done it all before, this must just be how he is, it's the results that count'. Then as time went on he proved he knows nothing about football, that's when it became apparent he wasn't going to get the results either.

And what a load of monkey spunk they turned out to be!!!

Yep. The alarm bell was so fucking loud in my ear when McEvely was handed the Captaincy.

Bladeacoaster = TWAT
The Room For Improvement = TWAT
Pressure makes Diamonds = yes it can after thousands of years, you TWAT.

Wigan about to loan Cameron Branaghan from Liverpool.

Another midfield player.

How many can you accommodate?

Another one in front of Morsy, surely.

Maybe another arrival will make him have a rethink and we can benefit?

Let's hope so,if our interest is still there, the sale of Adams could finance this move.
Put basham on the bench for cover.

Wigan can now bump up his price since they pretty much know what price we have sold Adams for.

Journo Joshua Smith. All rehash, but interesting second tweet tho:

Sam Morsy has spoken to manager regarding Sheffield United bid, & made it clear he wants to stay at Wigan and get first team football there.

Morsy also says decision is ultimately down to the manager & if he decides to sell him he will understand. He's expected to start tomorrow.

Do we really want someone joining us that is reluctant to do so? I really don't get the obsession with Morsy. We now have some cash – is the best option around really a reserve Wigan player that doesn't seem particularly keen to join?

I'd much rather we look at loaning a young central midfielder from the Premier League eager to impress (which was what motivated someone like Coady to join us), rather than someone that clearly views this move as a backward step.

I'd take poyet, a loan winger.. perm keeper and centre half. Wouldn't mind a cheeky bid for kassim and obika.

Agree 100% with this. Whilst I would expect Morsey to remain professional I cannot see how he would be as motivated as a player who really wants to come to us. Imagine also if he had a couple of stinkers early doors and the crowd got on his back. The situation could turn toxic on both sides fairly quickly.

Hopefully CW isn't as obsessed with Morsey as many of our own supporters seem to be. Move onto someone else ffs! There are tons of other suitable players who are probably cheaper as well.

All about opinions and I trust Wilder's opinion on this. He will either pursue him, or he won't. After all, it's CW that determines the criteria for which players sign or don't sign , one being actually wanting to come and wanting to wear the shirt.

Give up on him.. come January he'll be begging us to sign him.. once he's realised hes not getting regular first team football (sure they've signed two CM players.)
