Anyone know what's happened to this fella?

Tight muscle halfway through preseason never to be seen again.. yet seems to be going full tilt in the inside shirecliffe video.

The right and left backs just looked like little boys lost to me. The reason for JLT being caught out of position countless times was because he was trying to cover for the visibly flagging Burrows. Whereas Gilchrist was probably the weak link from start to finish.

I haven't paid that much attention to this signing,. He put his chance away well, and looks decent going forward. I'm concerned about lack of squad depth, so I'll be pleased if.he turns out to be a decent signing.

I've been impressed every time I've seen him. Physically & athletically robust, technically quite decent, defensively a little unaware at times, but likes a tackle.

An upgrade on a decent Osborn, when you consider the age profile of the two players and recurring fitness concerns with Osborn. Seems another decent lad too.

On a free, you can't complain about this one. He gives us different options down the left in a similar way to Shackleton down the right. Important with a lean squad to sign players with versatility.

Looks ok,a bit panicky when clearing his lines, needs to be more assured and get more time on the ball, look up and pass.

Definitely some room for improvement.
If you consider him as a trade-in for Max Lowe / Ben Osborn, I think we've come out of this on the better end.

Surprised Norwich didn't make more of an effort to hold onto him. At 23, there was a lot of development left in him and a lot of ingredients to work with.

Needs to get tighter to his man defensively, to stop their wide man having too much time to pick a man out in the middle before they cross the ball, that looks to me to be something to work on with him.

But he does have a lot going for him and he brings energy and tenacity. He's only a young pup too, so he has plenty of potential to be a really good player. Needs the rough edges taking off which I think will happen with time with our coaches. Happy to have the lad here and he is part of the new United which we were desperate to see after last season's shit show.

Absolutely, lots to work on. Seems to hurry to help the ball along, certainly needs more composure.

He needs to work on his positioning when off the ball, as he seems to drift infield too much for some reason, unless he is being instructed to do that? But overall I like what I am seeing and Wilder made a point of saying how much everyone else likes the lad. I loved his interview comment too about how he felt as soon as he stepped into the club. Clearly one who got it from minute one.

Everything about his goal was also superb. Brewster's smash pass, Moore shoving their player off the pitch like a rag doll and feeding Brook's run, the back heel, the finish. Just perfect.

One of the best counter attacks you will see this season by anyone.

I didn't click he used to play for Coventry as well lol.

So assist from O'hare, goal from Hamer, goal from McCallum.....

Thanks Cov!

Like "Basham arriving" he "tackled it into the net" - he was honest enough to admit this in his interview - i like his attitude , fits in well
