Can’t remember a player who has changed my opinion so much as McCallum has this season. I really thought he was absolutely useless but the last few weeks he has been consistently one of our better players

It's nice to see players out and in the team purely on merit. I rate Burrows but he's stunk the place out for the most part this season. Mccallum has done well so deserves the shirt. Now it's up to Burrows to win it back.

We have other players I rate that I don't want to see just walking back into the eleven. At last we are seeing genuine competition and a real hunger to get in the team. We could play any of our four strikers today and I'd be content. Hamer scored a nice goal the other day but even he doesn't necessarily walk into the eleven. Campbell was rested and it didn't cost us. Some good signs
