Pinchy, do you get to the boozer much? If so do you have the same conversations as on here but face to face, I find a lot of the " chat" a tad tedious, just wondering

That's your prerogative. I'm afraid there's no shortage of tedious repetition on here; usually about how great Bassett was and how terrible McCabe is and how useless our club is compared to the paragons of professionalism everywhere else. I merely beg to differ and the S2 locals don't like uncomfortable truths.

Im afraid I lead an isolated existence, rarely leaving my fortress of solitude save to rescue the beautiful game on here. I am never to be found on licenses premises mixing with the riff-raff. A cup of tea and a chocolate digestive alone, that's me.

Thats where superman lived wasn't it? Up in the Arctic somewhere, I think you ought to try a hob nob

If I had £1 for every thread I opened and came across Pinchy arguing against a point that no one made whilst using the word 'Bladey', I'd likely have around £417.

His Bladey 'hashtag' has been updated to include 'Bladey Boybands'.

Only in S2.

I've got a secret 'Pinchy Bingo' Facebook page.

Well, I say Facebook but it's just a book with a picture of my face on it. I showed it my friend and he 'liked' it though.

So are we talking Corporate bingo?

Sometimes debate has to be robust. I don't have sufficient time or inclination to explain to Tommy Robinson why his absurd views are a load of bollocks. The hoofers are similarly obtuse I'm afraid.

I've laboured over thousands of words over many years; explaining football philosophy with crystal clarity in terms that would be obvious to an amoeba, but not, sadly, to my unsophisticated, parochial, gerritforrard, upanatem Bassett Boy S2 readership.

I'm not going to rehearse my entire back catalogue every time there is an educational need.

Pele knows I've tried...
So yet again, you refuse to engage on specific questions about your grotesque generalisations. You don't have time for explanations, you say? Then a few posts further on you are telling us how far you can hit a golfball. I can only conclude that you are a wind-up merchant, with a repeated theme which is annoying, and lacks humour. Pity, because you make points which are worth debating.

Believe me, he really can't hit a golf ball that well :)

I disagree. No need yet. He'll get far better coaching with us than with a L2 team. He's still got plenty to learn and he can do that in the u23s. If he excels in the first half of the season, then consider loaning him out.
Do agree with you on that. Worth remembering he was eventually prefered to Cummings in the 23s and he will benefit from our coaching this season. Its clear we are trying to develope the modern style CB who read the game and anticipate situations and then play out from the back with minimal tackling taking place. At the moment he is way best served at Shirecliffe.
I really rate the lad and his partnership with Semple was developing well. Be good to see them back together later in the season. Big plus this lad for us.

I bet they drink real ale an' all!

Gordon's and slimline tonic CB. Even golfers aren't shallow enough to espouse real ale and "craft" beers that they don't really like and wish they were having a pint of Coors Light with a splash of lime while gipping over a pint of Old Ramshit.
