Fun Fact number 2: Janko sounds a bit like "chanko", which is the stew that Sumo Wrestlers eat.
or a Jordan RhodesFun fact 3: Saidy Janko is cockney rhyming slang for a snidey Yank-o of the old python, a sly shuffle if you will. "Check ya later, bud, I'm off for a Saidy Janko".

How much Stew do you need to eat to get that size? I thought it was pies or something![]()
Not really mate, their source is HITC sport!!!
JANKO also sounds a little bit like Gary Madines nickname.......WANKER.Fun Fact number 2: Janko sounds a bit like "chanko", which is the stew that Sumo Wrestlers eat.
They eat it about 5 times a day, really nice, more of a big noodle and meat soup really. Its packed with protein in the meat and stock of the soup and carbs in the noodles. Most people have a couple of bowls but the wrestlers have about 1-2litres per sitting
I saw a programme years ago where a British sumo team was attempted to be formed. One was quite healthy compared to the others, there were only three trialists. My favourite trained by eating as many cakes as he could every day. They drink a good few bottles of beer with each serving of Chanko, which also adds to the calorie count.
As Swizzler says, Chanko is packed with protein, not crap calories, it is really nourishing. If you ever watched Sumo on Channel 4, back in the 80's, you might remember Terao, he was a young lad, solid 17 stones, ate chanko all the time, didn't go mad on the beer, so no soft fat, just a big hard lad.
