Can't possibly see us getting him permanent. Loan maybe.

Fun Fact number 2: Janko sounds a bit like "chanko", which is the stew that Sumo Wrestlers eat.

How much Stew do you need to eat to get that size? I thought it was pies or something ;)

Fun fact 3: Saidy Janko is cockney rhyming slang for a snidey Yank-o of the old python, a sly shuffle if you will. "Check ya later, bud, I'm off for a Saidy Janko".

They eat it about 5 times a day, really nice, more of a big noodle and meat soup really. Its packed with protein in the meat and stock of the soup and carbs in the noodles. Most people have a couple of bowls but the wrestlers have about 1-2litres per sitting

He's a right back? I might be been overly protective of Freeman but personally I would rather see funds spent where we need them. Which is Centr Half and the number 10. We do need a back up there, but also Basham can do a job there as a stop gap in the event of injuries or suspension. If Freeman isn't up to it, which I think he will be, then we can always sign someone in January or as we did with Ebanks-Landell, make a signing just before the window closes.

Other reports say Wednesday are in for him. I think they've got us mixed up! Hope so because Celtic fans will be pleased to get shut from what I've read!

JANKO also sounds a little bit like Gary Madines nickname.......WANKER.

They drink a good few bottles of beer with each serving of Chanko, which also adds to the calorie count.

As Swizzler says, Chanko is packed with protein, not crap calories, it is really nourishing. If you ever watched Sumo on Channel 4, back in the 80's, you might remember Terao, he was a young lad, solid 17 stones, ate chanko all the time, didn't go mad on the beer, so no soft fat, just a big hard lad.

I saw a programme years ago where a British sumo team was attempted to be formed. One was quite healthy compared to the others, there were only three trialists. My favourite trained by eating as many cakes as he could every day.
